A World That Is Truly Equal Rights

For many years in this planet of ours, human civilization has fought for freedom and equality. In this world everybody has their own way of life style, we have our own set of opinions, and have different beliefs. That is why around the world there is different sets of groups, ethnicity, and culture. The U.S enforces equality not in the form of everybody being equal in every way, but in the form in which every race, and sex is equal form one another.. No race or sex has different set of rulers everybody can do the same as one another. Having the equality law is a privilege to have since there is parts of the world that do not enforce equality or even have such laws. What would happen if a country would treat the equality law to the extreme? What would happen if in a civilization would treat everybody the same as in everybody is smart, strong, and good looking than one another. Enforcing equality in every way from one another can leave up to a catastrophic results. In the short-story “Harrison Bergron” by Kurt Vonnegut, the Bergeron family and the rest of the United States are being forced to be equal in every possible way, and limited on freedom of being different from one another. Even do such laws are being enforced, the family and the U.S. show that being truly equal can be almost impossible to control since it is in our nature to think and be different from one another. The short- story by Vonnegut shows a civilization lacking intelligence since the government controls the human thought process. Everybody thinks the same, and have the same opinion in everything they observe. Even do everybody thinks alike there are some people that are more intelligent than others.
