1:2 Describe with examples how different aspects of development can affect one another. Example 1: Separation/Divorce When a couple is getting divorce or separated with young children this can affect their behaviour patterns for example by getting into trouble with police or in school which will give them the attention they need while they may not be getting as much with the parents concentrating on their situation. This can cause various things in the child such as not eating due to the stress and anxiety caused by what will happen to their family home due to moving to new school or just being in a single parent family which can be a big change. It can be much more of a factor for a young person when it becomes general knowledge in their friendship circle. Other disadvantages from this situation can be that sometimes a single parent can’t afford expensive holidays which would make the child feel left out when they are talking about events when after coming back from their holidays and are asked to write or tell about what happened during the school holidays.

Arbitrary rules, irregularly enforced discipline, and pointless paperwork are just the first things that come to mind. "’ 2. What rhetorical strategies does the writer use to achieve this satire? List them, and explain how each is used.

Lac is it good or the bad students. Many students would agree that it is bad for the student because it teaches them that when they grow up they should be unfair and unreasonable. They will do the same thing to other teens once they are adults, and adults and teens will forever be unhappy with each other. This would also make students lack intelligence because all that time they would be in LAC they could be learning their subject. It will also cause stress for the students because they will have a hard time learning there subject.

Failing a course is a major set back for some people. When students have the opportunity to retake a course most do not because they feel like it is a waste of time, or they just get lazy and do not want to do it at all. Also, failing a course can also be embarrassing to some people which leads them to give up and not worry about the course. Then the author presents the reasons that reading is so good for people. However, the author then says that a lot of the criticism about video games is because they are being judged by old standards by people who believe reading is the main way for children to learn skills.
If the child is powerless to the situation, or is in no position to conduct an argument, the child would be mistaken, resulting in another two possible outcomes. One, if the child is of a younger age, he will feel unjustly treated, but will let it pass. Two, if it is a teenager, he or she might hold a grudge against the parent, complicating issues. They will then be at an emotional war.
