A Girls Night Out Camille R. Byrne DeVry University A Girls Night Out My friends and I decided on getting together for dinner, so they asked me to suggest the restaurant I am sort of your neighborhood expert on dinning well on a budget. The idea was to get away from our everyday hustle and seemingly sequences of busy nothings. This was to be a night just about us girls, no husbands, boyfriends, or children, at least for a couple of hours. Being women of a troubled economy coupled with responsibilities, we are planning to splurge on a little decadence, albeit on a budget. I started out with my list of criterions. My list included location, ambiance, great food, excellent customer service and of course reasonably priced. With my list in hand, I set out to find the best restaurant that would fit this criteria, my plan is to find a place so we could spoil our senses. To indulge in a little decadence, give ourselves permission to spoil ourselves so to speak. The choice has to be about pleasing the inner diva. A few restaurants came to mind, but the one that I kept coming back to was one of my favorites “Salvatore’s”. This restaurant fit my list to the last letter. It is the coziest of restaurants nestled right on the beach, with all its old world charm. I have never been to Italy, but it is just like the restaurants that you see on the “Travel Channel” in Italy. My Choice: Salvatore’s Pros: Salvatore’s is full of old world charm, a sense of being in Italy. From the moment you step inside a feeling of warmth engulfs you, you are greeted with smiling hostesses and friendly waiters. It is both elegant and rustic an open brick oven is far off in the corner where gourmet pizza fills the air with its intoxicating aroma.
