3.03 Suspense on the screen Paragraph 1: Indeed, if I were to give a rating to the movie “Eye Contact,” I would of have given this movie a 3 out of 5. Reason is because this movie is an 8 minute film, and it doesn’t really provide much for the audience to understand what is going on, and the aftermath following the events. The movie should have been a little bit longer. The movie was set in modern American time, and it started off with a girl jogging and headed to the lighthouse. The female named was not addressed and I didn’t know she was. As she went up the towers, she was standing looking down from where she was and potted a dark shadow looking in her direction. Indeed, she was frightened by the shadow, which followed her to her house, and was later found dead. The characters include, Coroner, the Officer, and the Jogger. Coroner real name is David Bruce; the officer name is Jason Goodrich, and the jogger name Allison Mickelson. In the short film, the film maker used situational irony, where it seems as if the dark shadow is the one killing the people, where really the shadow didn’t really personally, kill the characters. They died of fear. Imagery is also used in the short film, because the jogger seen the dark shadow, and internally, she used her imagination to understand as to what the shadow is, and what does it
