She thinks that if she would want to change something about her careers and choices it would be that she would try more things out rather than just sticking with the same job for her entire life. My mother has been working at Social Security since she was eighteen years old, she currently is fifty-one years old. She spends her time taking claims from clients applying for Social Security. It is a lot of paper work and interviewing, but you are now required to have a college degree to be in the position that she is in. On the other hand, if a psychologist would take a behavioral approach, which focuses on behavioral responses, followed by enjoyable consequences being enforced or strengthened. He might believe that Jake has not done well on his first exam and has not received the positive consequence of success, which made him feel anxious instead of happy. He would probably tell Jake to study and then take practice tests until he succeeds in all of the possible questions, so studying will bring about success and favorable consequences, reinforcing good study habits. Another psychologist who takes a cognitive approach, which focuses on how people remember, store, and use information, might suggest that Jake’s study habits need to be reevaluated. Jake may need to take a different approach to studying in order to remember and apply information learned correctly.
She tells how NCLB is not effective for educating our children. Then, in the section “On Her Favorite Teacher” she gives a specific example of how noneffective today’s education system is by telling about her favorite teacher. Locus of control Axia of the University of Phoenix In one of the sources that I found in regards to locus of control, I discovered that a healthy athletic balance is good for moral and self esteem, but it can also be devastating if it taken away suddenly. (www.hanover.edu) Just like in life, it is hard to balance what we consider normal stressors and abnormal stressors. The other site that I found is finding the balance for Arab and Jewish women and how much control they feel they have over their lives and situations. This was great reading that allowed me to see that what we do is up to us,

Personal Goals Paper Laura Robles HCS 301 February third, 2014 Karen Benjamin RN, MSN Personal Goals Paper My name is Laura Robles, and I have been a register nurse for almost 7 years.
