Multi-disciplinary teams It is very important that everyone in a multi disciplinary team work in partnership. For the best results, all information must be available. This enables different disciplines to share their skills resulting in more effective support and outcomes for the child. Colleagues Working closely with colleagues and sharing information, such as observations, can add to a greater understanding of the child and their development. Working as a partnership helps to provide a good level
Develop positive relationship. Be aware of child development. Having a sense of child development helps you understand what general skills children have or are working on. Knowing these milestones and skills allows you to provide children what they need to transition. Know each child well.
Practitioners need to praise children and encourage them to succeed in their learning and give them the support they need. Practitioners need to build positive relationship with not only their key children and other children in their setting but also with the children’s parents this gives them a better chance of giving children more support at home. See appendix 1. At the setting parents can get involved and this will benefit planning for the child as parents know their children better than anyone and they will know their likes and dislikes and will be able to help them with their development. See appendix 2 .
With positive behaviour around, children find it much easier what is expected of them. Starting from a young age having boundaries with children is crucial so as they grow they will know what behaviour is acceptable and what behaviour isn't. They need consistency so that way staff have to work close with partent/carers to let them know what boundaries we have in our settings and try and get the partents to use our techniques at home so the children dont get confussed. Children need a lot of consistency in their lifes to help them know what is good behaviour. This also helps children take responsibility for their actions and also they are part of the process.
2.3 Explain how theories of development and frameworks to support development influence current practice. Theories of development and frameworks to support development are incredibly important to us when working with children. They help us to understand children, how they react to things, situations, their behaviour and the way they learn. Different theories and ways of working with children have come together to provide frameworks for children’s care, such as Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is used within all child care settings. This encourages us to work together, help and check the development of babies, children and young people, to keep them healthy and safe.
This helps us as care providers to learn about that particular child and their rate of development and their ability to do things. No one child is the same as another. Not every child develops at the same rate as others. Therefore, promoting one on one time with each child is important. Have fun with children.

Appreciating childhood could affect teaching in the classroom because you would know how to teach them better. I think that you would also be able to come up with more developmentally appropriate activities for the children. *Base our work on knowledge of how children develop and learn. By basing knowledge on how children develop and learn, it can help make more developmentally appropriate activities.
CYPOP 9 1.1 Explain the importance of providing accurate and up to date information and advice to children and young people. Young people should have accurate and up-to-date information about the range of opportunities available to them along with appropriate career information, advice and guidance (IAG) and any information to help support the decision-making process. All young people are entitled to the support that they need to move into a positive and sustained destination. All young people will have frequent opportunities to discuss their learning with an adult who can act as a mentor, helping them to set appropriate goals for the next stage in learning and provide suitable IAG when required. Involving young people in planning and reflecting on their own learning through assessment, evaluation and personal learning planning is essential and this is the responsibility of all practitioners regardless of the learning setting.
This is so the practitioner can act on the advice and put it onto the planning. This advice can have more experience in different aspects of the child’s life. This then helps with the care and learning needs of all children as if the child has a disability which affects their learning. The teacher will have to get another professional in that knows what they are doing to help care for the child and help with the child’s learning. This means that the child will be getting a full learning experience and understand the lesson because it is easier for them.
We as Educators will protect and cherish the innocence of children and thus provide a safe and secure environment.
