She finds daily work challenges and working with driven people to be highly motivating and she sees herself as a “star” at work. Based on her beliefs of what makes a good parent, she is also highly motivated to be a devoted mother at home. At this time you did not need a college degree to work in this industry and she got the job after her first interview. She said she was pretty good looking and a very good people person at the time and she believes that was a lot of the reason she got her job. She thought job searching was fun, but yet frustrating because she needed a job as soon as possible to help put my father through college, because she was living with him at the age of eighteen out of high school. She thought that all the hard work at home and with various tasks that her parents made her do helped her keep a good work ethic when she acquired this first job. She thinks that if she would want to change something about her careers and choices it would be that she would try more things out rather than just sticking with the same job for her entire life.
The mission statement for Conlin’s Furniture is “To provide an outstanding customer experience through a family of knowledgeable and caring associates, a selection of high quality furnishings at great values, and endless service to our clients”. Vicki’s job consist of ordering supplies, delivery schedules, payroll, doing the schedules for the store, accounts receivable, inventory counts, and much more. What she likes the least about her job is all the time she has to spend at the store. There are months that she does not even get a day off. What she likes the most about her job is meeting with new people getting to know her customer on a personal level.
In addition, every Saturday she attended a community college to tutor kids with special needs. Gloria loved working with these kids, and making them feel better about themselves, she was willing to help out in any way that she could. In like fashion to being caring, Gloria was also very intelligent. I went to her house one day and was just astonished by her collection of books; she basically had
Francie and her brother Neeley had to collect metal scraps to earn money to help support their family. They also worked some other jobs as well for income. Even with the obstacles that Francie and Neeley Nolan had to overcome they still grew up to be smart, successful and polite adults. Francie Nolan’s life is different from mine, but we do share similar authority figures. Francies teachers and my teachers are alike because they both want us to do our best and give us a lot of homework.
Jasmine is a productive and wonderful girl , she is very friendly to everyone that she meets she is intelligent as well. Jasmine tries her hardest in all her subjects. Never gives up and any assignment that is given to her. She always strives to get higher then an 85 as a grade , and if she fails to complete her goal she will get mad and try even harder to get the grade she wants. For instance in her algebra class , when her teacher explains the way to solve the problem or what ever they may be learning that day she would understand it the first time she hears him explain it.
Selena’s plan The Self-efficacy theory would be a good step to improve the way that Selena performs at work. This employee is usually willing to preforms her job at a high success rate. Therefore, this theory will give maximum benefit for her. She is usually the leader at work over 5 to 8 other employees. With her the individual characteristics she possesses motivation is never really issue with daily task done at work.
Many women have made a huge impact because of the jobs they have had. For example, Hilary Clinton she is the secretary of state. She is a woman, and she has made an impact in the U.S.A. as we know it. Now that women are able to get jobs, men don’t have to do twice the work because they have help from their wife. Besides that usually women work, take care of family and homes.
Using a daily planner and prioritizing my responsibilities has helped me have the time to transition back to a student. Although every task is written, not all need to be done in the same day. Day to day activities can be very distracting but my schedule keeps me focused. Returning back to school and into the student role requires me to be successful in working in teams. Communicating with my peers helps me trusting in my team mates to be active in the learning experience.
