Is it safe to eat?
In the book of Genesis both Adam and Eve are given one rule, that rule was to never touch the tree in the middle of the garden. The tree gave knowledge of good and evil but God also mentioned if they were to eat the fruit they would die, why was that? Was the fruit on the tree poison? Was it filled with toxins, or was the tree itself genetically modified? We live in an age where one can go into any supermarket and buy just about anything in any flavor, but does anyone ever questions whether or not this food is safe to eat? Foods of today have some of the strangest ingredient names anyone can image but can these artificial ingredients be harmful to one’s health? Evidence shows that these foods are in fact harmful and can cause dangerous consequences to one’s health. Food is one thing technology should stay away from, because messing with nutrition can cause biological damaging to one’s health. Genetically modified foods, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, irradiated foods and processed foods are the most common types of foods found in supermarkets and are known to cause harm to one’s health. So it gets me thinking, is science slowly trying to kill us?
Genetically modified foods are a worldwide controversial issue, and most can argue that nothing is wrong with modifying food, so why is it that certain countries have a ban on GMO crops?   What exactly are genetically modified foods? Genetically modified foods are mainly crops, and at times certain animals that are genetically engineered. This involves the insertion of genes from plants, bacteria, insects, fish, animal or humans into the DNA of another plant, fish or animal to create some sort of new variety. Basically the genetic materials of these crops have been altered, making them unnatural. Why are GMOs developed? GMO foods are developed because it is known to be a cheaper way to produce crops and is promised to be cheaper...
