John Lawrenz B. Adlawan Hum17/A22 Summary: In the future, Sentinels are eradicating both the humans and the mutants that carry the gene that would make a mutant spawn. A small group of mutants composed of Shadowcat, Bishop, Iceman, Colossus, Warpath, Sunspot, and Blink manage to evade the Sentinels due to Shadowcat’s ability to send a person’s consciousness into the past to send the group warnings. After an attack was evaded in Moscow, they meet with Storm, Wolverine, Professor X, and Magneto in China. Professor X explains that the killing of Bolivar Trask in the hands of Mystique was the cause of the Sentinels being made to eradicate the mutant gene and the whole mutant race. They then plan to send Wolverine into the past to change the course of history and prevent the assassination of Trask. Before the procedure, Professor X warns Wolverine that he was a different man back then and advises Wolverine to be patient with him. Wolverine then wakes up in 1973. After evading the hit men who try to kill him after he slept with their boss’s daughter, he travels to the X-mansion. He meets the young Beast and the young Professor X, the latter suffering depression and has taken shots to enable him to walk and remove his telepathic abilities since his school has closed down because all of his students went to and died in the Vietnam War. After talking about the future and the assassination that Mystique will do, Wolverine convinces Beast and Professor X to free Magneto from Pentagon, after he was accused of killing President John F. Kennedy, with the help from the young Quicksilver. While freeing Magneto, Bolivar Trask fails to get his Sentinel Program approved by the Congress. Meanwhile in a military camp, Mystique frees a group of mutants from the young William Stryker, who intends to transfer them to a facility where they will be experimented on by Trask. She then
