Large industries were placed in the Western suburbs and the extremely wealthy lived in massive mansions near the Yarra River. Almost all suburbs had access to a network of train and trams which were said to be the most modern in the world. Because of the economic boom of the gold rush, much of the inner part of Melbourne had outstanding Victorian architecture and housing. Melbourne was well known for its vast collection of building; ranging from cosy cottages to 12-story buildings. With the distinct Victorian architecture in mind, architects designed extraordinary buildings such as the State Library, University of Melbourne and the Royal Exhibition Building.
I went to Montville high school where located only 5 miles away from my home for a year and then graduate. Montville high school is a traditional public high school and I like it. Norwich is a small and old town. It lays South East of Connecticut. The climate is very cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
I intend on finishing school in two years and a couple of months at Central New Mexico. I will finish in fall 2012 if I do not slack on any of my classes and study hard. Due to this project I know what prerequisites I need to take and all of my required courses. I have a better view on the direction I’m going in now. Thanks due to the radiologic tech that I spoke with he gave me a better idea on things and how they work.
During this period the staff member receives in-house mandatory training which includes first aid, restraint training, recording and safeguarding. Once this two week period ends we assess during supervision if the staff member is ready to go onto the rota or if they would benefit from more shadow shifts. Supervision continues to be carried out fortnightly during the 6 month probation period. I find this to be beneficial especially during the first couple of months where the staff member may deal with a situation for the first time and may need to talk through some reflective practice. I also found that when I became senior in a different home an “induction” period where I received supervision and support was beneficial.
I graduated high school twenty-five years ago. Since then, I have raised a family and bounced from job to job. A college education is important to me because I have finally matured enough to complete my education and fulfill my dream of becoming a college graduate. In order to succeed in college, it takes dedication, discipline, and structure. Throughout my lifetime, I have always struggled with these.
During those six weeks I worked on material that helped me get ready for the next grade. For example last summer I took am math class called “Algebra 2, which happens to be a class I knew I would struggle with since math isn’t a subject I’m good at, with the help from the ConnCAP staff they helped me better understand what I was learning by offering me extra help after class and worked with me one on one”. So when school started in the fall I was always ahead of my classmates. I did multiple power points and projects, I learned how to speak in front large crowds professionally and know what to do and what not to do, which would help me in college and in my career. At the end of the six weeks I was required to participate and complete an “End of the program
Business Writing Portfolio XCOM/285 Essentials of Managerial Communication University of Phoenix Reflection As I look back on this class, the one thing that I will say is that these nine weeks sure have gone by fast. It seems like only a couple of weeks ago that I was posting my bio. I have learned quite a bit throughout this time that I will take with me and use in my career. The first thing that I learned this year is the proper formats to use when writing e-mails, business letters, and reports (Locker, 2008). They are one of those things that you really have to know how to write and format in order to be taken seriously in the business world.
I have also find it difficult to open the chambers for operation and closing them and assessing weekly maintenance. I realize the education and repetitive work in the HBO will help me build my skills. I am require to do a monthly training in the HBO, each training I will continue working on my weakness and build up my confident to I can be knowledgeable to perform in the HBO. By the end of this year I will have gone through most of our reading in the HBO procedure manual book and apply my knowledge in the future
Though, i know that with me being a full time employee and parent, college will be a little more complicated. I know that im on the road to sucess and that alone brings a great sence of sucess to my person, for which im very proud. I am very proud of being a role model to my children and family members. Reflections of US/101 Amy Kelley US/101 Professor Eric Wright Reflections of US/101 When I think back over this class I have received a greater knowledge base on several different things but out of all of them there are a few that really stuck with me and will drive me to seek more information and ideas. The few that have made the most impact are time and stress management, integrity and ethics, and goal settings. When I think about time and stress management I find that I have always fallen short because I have always tried to do everything and there are a time when that is just not possible. After taking this class I can see how my stress level has been high and have found a few ways to reduce my stress as well as find time
