Worldview Essay I never really gave any thought to my Christian Worldview, or worldviews in particular. I have always believed in a creator ever since I could remember. Probably from the worldviews of my parents. We did not go to church, but my parents taught us morals and the difference between wrong and right and that there was a God. I became a Christian about six or seven years ago at a small Pentecostal church where we lived. My husband first gave his life to the Lord and I soon followed. I never thought twice about word worldview until I took this class. Understanding my Christian worldview has strengthen my faith and given me a solid foundation to share worldview when the opportunity arises. My Christian Worldview believes in God represented in the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit or The Trinity. God is Holy which means altogether different then his creation. God tells Moses in Exodus 3:14 “I am who I am”. God. God never changes He is how He is. God will never show favoritism. God has never changed and He will never change. He will never lie and He will always be faithful (Dudek, 2010 17pg). We are made in the image of God. We all have value and worth as individuals. Secular Humanism has no logical value to give mankind. Our values as Christians are based on what God tells us in the Bible. Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground” (Genesis 1:26-27). So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female. Our human representative was Adam and Eve. They both disobeyed God in the beginning in the Garden of Eden. This brought about the Fall of mankind. We are separated now from God in need of a Savior which is Jesus Christ.
