World Hunger World hunger is a big problem now days it has a lot of people’s attention and some don’t even care at all about it at all but hunger is not just the need of food. It is also the health of the person too. “Hunger, malnutrition and under nutrition are all terms used to describe aspects of this problem. There is an important difference between 'under nutrition' and 'malnutrition’. Under nutrition is quantitative and means that people do not get enough to eat whereas malnutrition is qualitative and means that a person’s diet is lacking the necessary amounts of certain elements that are essential to growth, such as vitamins, salts and proteins. This implies, of course, that a malnourished person does not necessarily feel hungry.” Over nine hundred and twenty-five million people go hunger a day. The worst area of World hunger is “in the Asian, African and Latin American countries, well over 500 million people are living in what the World Bank has called "absolute poverty.” The worst area of world hunger is Asia and the Pacific with five hundred seventy-eight million people. That is more people then Canada, USA, and Europe put together. I asked myself why is this area the worst and I thought it would be because a person not having enough money to buy food but it is not. The reason that these areas are the worst is because “17% of the population was undernourished during 1997-1999, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Astonishingly, this translates into 777.2 million individuals who did not have enough food to meet their daily energy needs”. It is also people sometimes come to new country or just countries hungry and to not have money to buy food. Because people do not get enough to eat there are a lot of people that die from hunger and this happening more to children then adults. “Over time,
