The Wonders of Modern Science Modern science is nothing but a skilled magician. One after one, it is providing the mankind with wonders. It has absolutely (fit) conquered the indomitable forces of nature. The wonders of modern science are too many to illustrate them in a short essay. Electricity is the first wonder of modern science. It is the driving force of today’s civilization. Electric power is used for various purposes. Without it, the advancement of modern science is impossible. Television is another wonder of modern science. It is the most popular instrument for recreation to the modern people. It is a medium of communicating, sharing and exchanging thoughts, opinions, culture, and custom with the entire world. The artificial satellite is another wonder of modern science. It is used for a variety of purposes. The first artificial satellite named Sputnik-1 was sent by the USSR on 4th October, 1957. We can use different types of satellite such as Weather Satellites, Earth Satellites, Communication Satellites and Navigation Satellites etc. A satellite is sent to move around the axis of the earth. Computer is the most striking of all wonders of modern science. It is a substitute for the human brain. It can solve a great problem within one blink of the eye. After the invention of the computer, unprecedented progress is found in every sphere of life. Mobile phone is another wonder. Almost all people nowadays use mobile phone everyday. Mobile phone has made communication easier. To communicate with family, friends or get information, news of the world becomes a matter of clicking by using mobile internet. Mobile internet user is increasing day by day. The invention of nuclear energy is a great wonder of modern science. Now man can generate enormous electricity with the help of this energy.
