Essay Why I would be a teacher? , actually I ask this question to myself everyday but is a lot of facts and reasons of why I want to be a teacher. One of the main reasons of why I want to be a teacher is because I come from a family of teachers, I have fours aunts that are teachers and my mom has an associate degree in education. Since I was a little girl I look at this profession as my future goal and now I finally decided to accomplish it. My physical education teacher of elementary school is also one of the persons responsible of have this passion of teach; she teaches me that everything is possible in life and to build confidence in myself. Some of the extrinsic rewards of this profession are to be able to educate a child that is not ours and probably make a little bit of difference in them. For me, the intrinsic rewards are more strong than the extrinsic ones because is something that I’m going to have with me all time. A student can educate also a teacher and teachers will learn a lot from them, all the experiences and all the success we have with a student is something that is going to be in a teacher’s life forever. The community impact that a teacher can have in a community is always one of the main goals of being a teacher. A teacher’s role is not just to educate the specific subjects to a student is also to be able to educate them to respect life, respect nature and respect others; this will make a really good impact in a community. A teacher needs to have totally commitment with their students because, without this is not possible to teach successfully. A teacher needs to able to understand the priorities of a student and leave their own in the side, this is why this profession is not for everybody, a lot of sacrifices are involved in this profession and we need to be able to take that risk if we want to be a teacher.
