Individual growth will establish students with a total understanding towards their health as well as an education in future living skills. I believe participation in a physical education allows the students an opportunity to learn and formulate a healthy value structure. My main goal is to see my students improve in some areas, not always all, if I do this I have succeeded as a teacher. I want to teach my students the skills to be healthy and play some games, as well as to be successful later in life. The main goal for me is to see my students improve and give all they can.
I can honestly say that the teacher in the classroom did a great job with her students and I will be walking away with a bunch of awesome strategies and resources to take back to my own classroom to help with teaching reading and language arts. During this journey and through all of my observations, the teacher and myself had the same goal in mind and that was to make sure that we were educating the students to the
A teacher with high expectations for his or herself will ultimately pass that quality on to their students. Caring comes naturally for great teachers. When a teacher genuinely cares for the students entrusted to them, they are able to reach them with greater ease. Great teachers make their classroom a place where caring is the norm. In a climate of care, students are more inclined to take up for each other, protect each other, and teach others how to care.
As a teacher you groom and mold your students always teaching them new criteria they need to know for their future. That is why as an educator I want to continue my own enlightenment by obtaining a Master’s degree. By becoming a principal it enables me to become a lifelong learner by observing great teachers, support disenfranchised students by being the constant figure at the school as kids move from class to class or from district to district but most of all I would get the opportunity to watch the students grow over their entire school grade career, not only physically but mentally and
I intend to train and guide my students in every aspect, even in other subjects. I persuade my students to perform excellently in anything they do. When there are upcoming tests or quizzes, I make sure that I tutor them beforehand. I engage them to let me know if there is something that they do not understand, and I also want them to support each other. I hope that my students use the skills that they learn in my classroom so I can help them progress their skills more.
My life has been full of experiences in which transitional learning took place. The most profound is the lesson I am currently learning. My experience that is in my life is that I made a choice to go back to school to get a better education about working with children, so I can become a teacher. The reason why I am doing this is because I want
What does the statement, “Students not only care what you know, but want to know you care” mean to you? This statement to me means, that there are students who not only seek for a teacher with knowledge, but a teacher who will appreciate them as a student, and encourage them to succeed. This is because many students are discouraged by those teachers who are in a classroom because it is their job rather than their passion. Everyday I encounter different students with different personalities, but through my experience with children, I have learned that, the most common students are those who are in need of a caring hand and support. For example, I once worked with a group of fifth graders who were all very well behaved, but there was one boy
They need to work on their lesson plans for the younger toddlers who attend their center in the morning to the afternoon. Other than that, they can only hope to better their environment and do whatever they can to help the children learn and grow at their center. They truly are passionate about their work, and it is evident that their children appreciate the center and the staff. It was a great experience meeting and interviewing people with such
I would like to support this classroom in reference of two theories, Erikson and Reggio Emilia. I saw how successfully the children developed trust how they expressed their safety and security. The teachers were consistent and emotionally available. Erikson’s believed children can sense one-hundred percent trust or one-hundred percent doubt. (Erikson) Another, amazing theory that I can compare this classroom and teachers, their practice and professionalism, children are motivated to learn on what they are interested on, the teacher nurtures that ability so that the children grow and learn.
I am empathetic and honest, something which I feel is very important when working in partnership with parents and carers, and I am also enthusiastic and creative which I believe are vital assets when working with young children. I hope that if I am successful in the application process and graduate with this foundation degree I can go on and apply to do a PGCE or BA. This will allow me to enhance my skills and help me to achieve my goal of becoming a competent and professional practitioner helping young children to develop into healthy, happy and well-rounded
