The master of deceit tempted him, but yet he was an example of obedience by refusing to deviate from what He knew was right. An example of this obedience is when he was facing agony in Gethsemane, when he was enduring much pain, even then he was obedient to the lord by saying, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42 I would like to close with a scripture that President Hinckley used in a talk in 1995. The scripture is Isaiah 1:19-20 and it

It will explain the light of God and how I want the sweet love of Jesus. Last, I will explain how it is my name and I cannot have another in my life. In Act IV, Reverend Hale stated, “Let you not mistake your duty as I mistake my own. I came into this village like a bridegroom to his beloved, bearing gifts of high religion, the very crowns of holy law I brought, and what I touched with my bright confidence, it died; and where I turned the eye of my great faith, blood flowed up” Fear and suspicion can destroy society. Reverend Hale, who enters Salem Naïve and convinced of his greatness in discerning spirits, realizes he has cause irreparable damage.
We ask thee not for provision; it is we that provide for thee. And the end is for the righteous." Prayer strengthens man's spiritual faculties. It is the best way to form a relationship with one's Creator. It purifies one's spirit, and through it, constant remembrance of Allah delivers one of the self that incites to evil.
Morgause gave birth to her sons and that is pretty much the only way she has a partial right to the title of a mother, because in any other form she is definitely not a mother. Morgause shows to be a woman full of vanity and is very conceited. This would be an example of her narcissism: “It was not that Morgause courted invisibility-indeed, she would have detested it, because she was beautiful” (White 218). Just by saying she “detested” being invisible “because she was beautiful” shows just how full of herself she is. The way she treats her children is un-motherly and selfish, for example when “she had not noticed that her children’s clothes were ruined: had not even scolded them about that” (White 263).
It not only prevents individuals from acting in unlawful practices but it forms a great bond between the spouses. “And one of his signs is that he created mates for you, that you may find rest in them, and he envisaged between you love and compassion”. The teaching of the Qur’an emphasises that satisfying the sexual needs under the Islamic rules and Allah’s commandments as a form of worship and celibacy should be avoided as it interrupts the continuation of the human race. Marriage is an essential need between two people and encouragement of marriage and sex with marriage is seen as a gift from Allah. “Marry the spouses around you” teaches Muslims that marriage is not only a duty but a necessity to maintain the human race.
Howells attempts, in his respective piece, to show how the love for one’s nation can make the unwilling die for the ones they love. The lesson taught throughout “The War Prayer” is very similar the first of the two main concepts in the Christian faith: the golden rule. Christianity, in theory, can be narrowed down to two main laws; treat thy neighbor as you would treat yourself (a.k.a. the golden rule), and to love no other God. The overall point of this piece is to bring the reader to a realization that one man’s wish for their own success (or in this case, a nation’s success) may also be seen as indirectly praying for another’s demise.
The moment that Tania looks from Alexander to Dasha also symbolizes her initial realization that her love for Alexander is impossible because her sister loved him first. Next, Simons uses italics in order to emphasize how shocked Tania was. Lastly, that fact that she “wanted to say” but didn’t actually say aloud what she felt, shows the beginning of Tania’s secret keeping and lying in order to cover up her love. Through this visual imagery, emphasis, and symbolism, Simons initiate the cause of impossible love due to family. The cause of impossible love due to family is seen again through Simons’ use of dialect and visual imagery.
Also, women in her culture had to cover themselves up, in order to show modesty and self-protection, which she thought to be an unequal hierarchy. Veiling is an inequality between sexes, and it is though to be natural and okay for Muslim women to
3.The Question of Meaning/Purpose-A Muslims purpose is to submit to Allah. They only believe that Allah's guidance is the only guidance as it has been told in the Holy Quran(Sura 6:71). They Believe that the Bible is correct that it has been corrupted and The prophet Muhammad was use by God to be the Last prophet to communicate his plan to mankind
