This decision is made out of haste due to her youth and immaturity. She decides that the solution to the problem is an abortion. It’s quick, and not many will know. Like many girls of her age, this is viewed as the solution to premature pregnancies. But I wonder: if she were ten years older, would her decision be different?
They have the notion that it is used for protection against unwanted pregnancy, when there are many other benefits. In the book Dr. Spock’s Baby and Child Care, Dr. Spock states, “Does sex education encourage sex? Many parents are afraid that talking about sex with their teenagers will be taken as permission for the teen to have sex. Nothing could be further from the truth. If anything, the more children learn about their sexuality from talking with their parents and teachers and reading accurate books, the less likely they feel compelled to find out for themselves” (2004).
Is Adoption Better Than Abortion: There are many similarities that link both abortion and adoption however there are also very many differences which separate them, either reasons which concern the mentality of the mother after the two processes and the physical differences made to their life. The first, most obvious similarity; is that they are giving up their baby, another being that you are not forced into unplanned parenthood. This however, also links into not being forced into hastily made relationships or even marriages with the father of the child. This being a fantastic reason which favours the two options as does the prevention of teenage girls losing their youth to being forced into a position that may hinder the whole of their later life. One of the main differences between adoption and abortion is that abortion ends a life in order to end a pregnancy whereas adoption requires the giving up of the young or new born baby.
Other than that, this birth control technique will not affect the fertility of teenage girl. For example, if the teenage girl decided to stop the consumption of the birth control pill, they still can get pregnant and does not have any side effect. They can get pregnant in a short time after stopped taking the birth control pill because study have proven that the more they used the birth control pill, it will be more easier to get pregnant (Birth Control Pills May Aid Fertility 2002). Therefore, it is safe for teenager to take birth control pill. Then, other birth control method is not safe compare to birth control pill.
Allen also discusses how a mandated vaccine should be free to those who are inapplicable to afford it. He notes that the reason for this cause of the vaccination is because the “health officials are already struggling to provide for existing mandated vaccines…” and “simply don’t have the money to buy the HPV immunization for girls whose families can’t afford it” (Allen 450). The authors also believe the link with Merck makes the vaccination appear less credible. Adams plots out how Merck is making a huge profit from vaccinating young teenage girl’s bodies. All the money goes to the drug company, “earning tens of millions of dollars in profits for Merck” (Adams 445).
In some cases however, if the expectant mother is very sick during the pregnancy, it is understandable to be paid during her pregnancy so she can pay for the medication to help with morning sickness. If the governement paid expectant mothers while they are pregnant, then some woman may continue to get pregnant then abandon their baby's so they can continue to get money. If the expectant mothers are working, and are receiving pay from their work, and living off that pay, they do not need the extra money from the government just because they are pregnant. There are other people in this world who are in need of that money instead. It would not be right if expectant mothers were to get money added to their work pay.
Approximately 1.3 million unplanned pregnancies end in abortion every year. There are several reasons women choose to have abortions such as fear of having or raising a child, rape, or not having enough money. But whatever the situation, it is the individual woman’s decision. If an abortion is denied, the women would have the child in unsafe living conditions and the child would not get everything he/she needs to live a good life. First Trimester Abortions should not be viewed negatively because a woman's body is her own, circumstances are always different, and a woman has individual rights.
Jenna Geyman Government March 25, 2012 Abortion I do not think abortion is a good thing. There is something very precious about bringing a new life into the world. I love to hold a new little baby and think about what its life will be like. If I had a friend who got pregnant and was considering an abortion, I think I would help her to try to find some way to keep the child and care for it. But I do not think it is right for the government to make abortion illegal either.
The mother could be physically, mentally, or emotionally unwell and not capable of being pregnant or having a child without endangering her health; the pregnancy could have possibly been the result of a terrible crime, such as rape or incest; the fetus could be unhealthy and be a danger to the mother's health. I truly believe that abortion is a good thing if used right. Many people are not ready to have another human in their life and raise it improperly. In 1987 a study was done to the woman who had abortions, to find out the
She might end up resenting the child and blaming the baby for everything. If someone isn’t ready to have kids, whether they’re too young or not financially stable, abortion should be available to them as an option until they’re prepared for kids or can offer they’re child a better future. Reasons against: Abortion has many benefits to it, but like many controversial topics abortion has its detractors. Many of its detractors say that through abortion you’re taking the life of an innocent child. Another reason against abortion is the long term effect it will cause a woman.
