The second reasons to why we are studying different learning styles is because of personal reasons such as to improve your self-confidence and self-esteem, to learn how best to use your brain which can never be a bad thing, gain insight into your strengths and weaknesses, learn how to enjoy learning more, develop your motivation for learning and maximising your natural abilities and skills. Learning Styles Theories The different learning style theories there are to enhance you learning skills are VAC, Belbin, Kolb, Gardener and Honey and Mumford. The VAC (VAK or VARK) learning style theory is one of the most common and widely used categorisations of the various types of learning styles
Again, as I stated before, main goal is to improve customer service. The best way to do it is to have the best employees. Active or Passive Diversity This is a little difficult question for me. Our world right now has a diversity of expertise, values, and languages. It might be better to use passive diversity for Tanglewood, because they want their employees to share close relationship between each other.
Through the lessons of Character Counts, we learn that our character does in fact count. Our character represents us as people and a nation, and we must achieve and surpass the expectations set before us so that we may truly say our lives made a difference. Even the seemingly least significant gesture of good will can, in some way, improve a person's quality of life. Character Counts strives to reach the goal of a better life for all. Respect, Trustworthiness, Citizenship, Caring, Fairness, and Responsibility are six ways to go far in life and do well in life.

Dominic Ellis Chapman W 131 July 10, 2012 Identity Theft As rational, self-conscious people we care about who we are and where we care from as far as our family roots. Our culture is important to us no matter what race or background we come from. The fact of the matter is we are very keen of who we are and what make us who we are because we value our identity. We also want our identity to be factual and precise when it is reported by those with authority. Howard Gardner, a psychologist and a college professor at Harvard University also feels that identity is an important to an individual.
Scenario Evaluation Plan C B Tuck HSM 270 February 3, 2012 ARIN NORRIS PEACE Domestic Violence developed a program and addressed the components of the logic model and the development of the evaluation plan was also being written. I am happy to say and pleased to announce that the evaluation plan is complete. It is important that staff read over the evaluation plan so that they are familiar with the ins and outs of the tool so that they don’t find theme selves stumbling thru the document as they use it. Making themselves familiar with the evaluation plan will make the process easier and the data more accurate especially because it is based on the empowerment evaluation model in which we are doing self-assessment of our program services.
They will consider the personal or professional rewards they have received during this lifetime. When faced with the realities of these truths, it is up to us to choose an attitude of acceptance, which helps to establish a sense of integrity. Integrity is the feeling of personal pride we feel about the choices we have made during our lifetimes. This feeling of accomplishment and pride we experience is important to move forward, with less feeling of regret or disappointment about our lives in general. The feeling of despair that comes with the negative aspects of our lives, is a result of realizing that we have made mistakes, made bad choices, and we feel as if we have failed
Murray and Ungar Synthesis In the many recent debates about how to approach higher education, one issue that has constantly appears is the question of students benefiting from a liberal arts based education. Some argue that a liberal arts education is helpful in teaching students the basic life skills, others claim that a more specific field of study is necessary in order to b successful in life. In Ungar’s essay “the New Liberal Arts”, he claims that with a liberal arts education, students can benefit tremendously when they receive their jobs. In Murray’s essay “Are Too Many People Going to College”, he proclaims that a liberal arts degree is not highly recommended because the more difficult careers want students to take classes that are more specific to a job. Sanford J. Ungar and Charles Murray both conduct and display their own opinion towards the facts they learned through their own strenuous research.
Why History Matters Why History Matters David McCullough said "History is who we are and why we are the way we are." It is both necessary and helpful to study the context of prior history because it reveals how we got to be who we are today and the reasons why we are that way. It also shows us how we are in relation to other people, cultures, and countries. By studying history we learn where we came from and how we came to be the people we are today. History also shows us the cause of certain issues that we have today.
Health Care Reform When it comes to our health care system, most of us can agree that America is ready for a change. We need a system that can deliver accessible, high quality care, but due to government policies that attack the foundation of our health care system, this may be a difficult task to achieve. However, the Obama administration and members of congress are pushing the legislation to set up a government run health care system. As President Obama signed the new health care law, which eventually provides insurance coverage for millions of uninsured Americans, many of us are still scratching our heads (Parker). Leaving many asking how and when will the people start seeing it take effect.
