Most elections are chosen or influenced by those who participate. In the United States of America, out government is a democracy. Voting helps keep it that way by giving people a voice to say what is wrong, what is right, what they want to change, and what they want to stay the same without penalty from anyone. To vote is to give a voice in playing a role in positive change in society and our country. Society is kind of like an extended family. We contribute to society whether it is in a negative or positive way. That is why voting is very important to our future as it was to our past. Many men and women have died for our right to vote and other rights that we are given. People, more now than ever, should use their right to vote every chance they get because the world is changing very fast and you should want to have a say in where it's going. We all have a responsibility to make the world a better place, voting gives us the right away to do so on various subjects. Opinions are one of the many things that makes us different from others. Mistakes are one of the things that makes us human beings, but mistakes can always be prevented. So why make unnecessary mistakes, and not share your personal opinion by not voting? You never know, people might agree with you. There are many crisis's and problems going on in our country. Wouldn't you want to be a part of a historical solution? Giving your opinion on some current events like gay marriage, retirement issues, marijuana legalization, abortion, and illegal immigration is something you could do through voting. To vote for these issues could help contribute solutions or finalize major decisions. You could be the reason a decision was made and our country was steered in
