It is also taught at all of our military academies (i.e. West Point, Annapolis, Colorado Springs and New London). Following orders is essential to the proper operation of "the machine." There is a chain of command giving everyone an area and depth of responsibilty. Orders are called orders because that is exactly what they are, not suggestions.
Once mastering these techniques, not only will you not get scolded for absences and late appearances, you will also look like a squared away, punctual soldier, with the look of being a motivated individual. Punctuality and responsibility for your own actions are key if you want to make being in the military as a career, let alone in the civilian world. Now, time management is a very easy technique to master, but the trick about it is that it is not something you just get, it is something you work for and is solely based on the individual involved. If you really work at it, stay motivated and practice using this technique, then it will come to you quickly and will be in your personal arsenal in your pursuit of seeming squared away. On the other side of that coin though, if you are generally unmotivated, lazy, or just plainly don't care, then

Therefore, in the absence of specific procedures or guidelines, commanders must determine a soldier’s compliance with standards in this regulation. Soldiers must take pride in their appearance at all times, in or out of uniform, on and off duty. The requirement for hair grooming standards is necessary to maintain uniformity within a military population. Many hairstyles are acceptable, as long as they are neat and conservative. It is not possible to address every acceptable hairstyle, or what constitutes eccentric or conservative grooming.
The same thing applies for rewards two soldiers do the same thing an NCO can not give one of them a higher reward. There are three types of duties specified duties which are those related to jobs and positions, directed duties which are not specified as part of a job position or MOS or other directive, and implied duties which often support specified duties. A good leader executes the boss’s decisions with energy and enthusiasm; looking at their leader, soldiers will believe the leader thinks it’s absolutely the best possible solution. As a leader we must ensure that our soldiers clearly understand their responsibilities as members of the team and as representative of the Army. Responsibility is being accountable for what we do or fail to do.
Going out on any mission in the military without necessary equipment is dangerous. A soldier can not be ready to engage the enemy without his/her necessary equipment near and ready. Also when you know where your weapons, headsets, and other equipment are you are providing a good example to other soldiers on how to always keep track of important items. Keeping track of important items is part of a soldier’s many duties. Accountability in the Army is very important.
The CEO of any organization needs to not only be part of the policies and standards that present but they also need to be the main supporter of all initiatives. Whether the CEO writes their own policies or buys them of the shelf, they need to make sure they are followed and that all compliance issues are covered correctly. It is important to remember that information security is as much a business issue as it is a technological issue. If all groups work together and abide by policies and standards that are written for the organization then the organization will stand a better chance at being secure. Having a security policy that is easily measured and enforced is the key (Symantec, 1995-2010) to this success.
The army must also have an expert knowledge of the enemy and likely enemies they may face and the best tactics and strategies to combat them. They army must then apply their military expertise to the best of their abilities to combat the enemy but stay within the boundaries of the laws of land warfare. It is our responsibility as soldiers to continually strive to be the best military professionals we can be at all times. Trust is firm belief in the
In my opinion it is one of the most important of all of them. It is very important but without the other values, Duty by itself cannot assist in accomplishing the mission. We still have the other values like leadership, respect, selfless service, honesty, integrity, and personal courage. These all set up the framework for us to be able to accomplish or duty as soldiers. All of them work hand in hand with each other.
Maintain a good appearance is essential for all members of the armed forces, especially for the U.S. NAVY. It looks simple, and we should always be able to carry out this mission, no matter what. Not having just a simple thing like a belt makes us look uneven. By the simple fact of having forgotten belt, we could also forget send a message instead, and for not sending a message we could end up losing the lives of our shipmates, or even worse, lose the war. Having a uniform ready at all times will teach us discipline.
