My plans are to not only use education as a tool to prepare myself for a profession, but also to help me become a self sufficient individual who is fully prepared for life. Continuing my education in counseling has been my ultimate goal. Now, I will be able to help others by providing the necessary orientation in aspects of life such as: marriage, substance abuse that can make a difference in society. My parents did not realize all the important values I had learned from them. I believe that those values lead me to pursue my goals.
I am a natural leader of people. When in doubt, I will not hesitate to get advice because failure is not an option to me. Some of the challenges that I will be faced with will be how to juggle a full time job, family and schooling. The reason for going back to school is not only to further my education for future work but also to be more proficient in assisting my children with their schoolwork. Technology has progressed to a point where I feel that I need do something to help me keep pace with the changing world.
The more I know the better opportunities will come my way in the future. I am looking forward to become successful in life, because of Bishop Noll’s preparation & standards. I cannot wait to finally graduate with a diploma in my hand from all my hard work, and say I graduated from Bishop Noll Institute with an enormous sense of pride. Bishop Noll has made me realize, growing up is not always easy, but it’s an adventure to figure yourself out. So far, I already know my faith in God will forever be in my heart, I also know my passion for dance is forever, Bishop Noll has not only challenge me academically but in my extracurricular activates, like dance.
These two remarkable individuals would service great role models for me as parents, which is why I choose them. If I were to choose a mother figure fore me I would definitely choose Clara Barton. To begin with, she has the characteristics that I would love to be passed on to me such as; her love towards her work and her
Jenny Graves: I love being able to help the younger generations learn and to guide them to be the very best they can be in life. After all they are our future and without us to guide them then the future does not look too promising. Cynthia Moore: What made you choose a career in early childhood education? Jenny Graves: The lack of dedication among the teacher’s I had growing up. To them it was just another job and I wanted more for those learning.
National Honor Society By: Aleesta Clodfelter National Honor Society is having the characteristics of leadership, character, and service. I think that National Honor Society is the right thing for me because my parents have instilled in me a sense of responsibility and the care for others. This is such a formidable opportunity itself to be involved in due to the dedication of helping and caring for others, and being associated with multitudes of non- profit organizations. Leadership plays a huge role. I’ve always tried to show more of an independent role as a student, and help others who don’t quite understand the things that I do.
She is the one person in my family whom I have a lot in common with, and it would mean so much to me if I could follow in her footsteps. It would be comforting to know that if I ever had any questions with my classes or even the campus; help from someone I was close to would be just a phone call away. My second career choice is to become a teacher. Many of the
Apart from the many other common reasons for becoming a teacher (“I feel a calling to teaching”; “it’s a chance to positively impact the community” and “children need good/better role models”), ultimately, I believe that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, and that it will lead to a brighter future for myself, and my family. I’m certain people would perceive pedagogy as a career that would continually put someone through a tremendous amount of stress, and although this could be true, it is why people should be praised for deciding to pursue this profession. Teachers are responsible for shaping children, building their character, and helping them work towards their aspirations. In essence, teachers are the people who create the future. There is a current urgency for new teachers, and with these fresh and youthful minds being prepared to enter into the field we can expect a big change in the methods and techniques as well as new ideas being brought into the world of
Thank God- that I have been able to succeed in most of my goals. Despite the things that I went through in life, I thank Adversity for being in my life because it has made me prepare for future challenges. Also, it has helped me to recognize the importance in gaining my education to better my life and that of my daughter. I believe that though I am now a single mother, having my education will open doors for me and make me a good role model for my
Common Core: Should We Pass It or Trash It? If you are a parent, then you know what I mean when I say that our children are our pride and joy. We put so much love and effort into their primary development, and try hard to teach and guide them in the ways we think best. So when it comes time to send our precious little-ones to their first day of school, wouldn’t we want those same goals in their academic education? If you are like most parents, there would be no other answer in your mind than “Yes”.
