I have been interested in art for as long as I can remember, but it was the support from the people I loved that encouraged me to pursue it as a career. Unlike the stereotypical academically and algorhymic oriented Asian parents, my parents believe in free thinking and imagination. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of staying up till midnight drawing with my mom and dad. It was this love that has ultimately set me on a path in the visual arts. Art was not just a passion that I pursue, but surprisingly also how I made friends.
She has changed a lot since the beginning of the play. Keeping a smile on my face throughout this scene is quite important. It shows to the audience that Katherine, now tamed is really happy. She can truly enjoy life and it’s brilliance to the fullest now that she has someone who really has shown her love and care and she has learned to show those feelings back. When Petruchio says the line “What duty they do owe their lords and husbands” I would want the other female characters to gasp in shock at what Petruchio said but as Katherine I would not gasp and rather ponder for a moment putting my hand up to my face to clearly show that the character is honestly thinking about this.
Shakespeare Stick Up Monday, September 10, 2011 The rising issue that the Australian Education officials have been pondering over is whether or not Shakespeare should continue to be taught within schools. It is evident that the people of modern day society agree that it should. The reason for this collective decision is that the general public still believe in the relevance of Shakespeare’s work in today’s society, the quality of the characters that he created, the enjoyment of Shakespeare’s plays and poems and how challenging it is to students. Many people overlook the fact that practically all of the movies and other media, as well as many real life situations experienced by persons of all ages, were themes in the many plays and sonnets
I work in a place where I see new faces every day, it’s always nice to interact with them and learn a little bit about them in just a matter of a few seconds. I just love being around people and I love to make them smile. Being a Medical Assistant to me means seeing new faces every day, learning a little bit about them and hopefully getting a smile or two out of them. They may not be at the doctor’s office for a good reason, but I want them to know how much I care about them and to show them how much I love my job. I graduated High School in June of 2012, It took me a few
I literally didn't even know things like that existed till I got to intermediate school. So much of my personality and ethics come from my parents. One of the most important things I think my parents did was to not force religion into my life. Moreover, they did not equate being a moral person with being a religious one. This way, when my religion began to wane at times I never once felt like that meant I could just be a bad person.
When I really take the time to think about it I wouldn’t want to grow and mature with any other class. Together we’ve been through so much, and we’re nowhere near done growing and developing the knowledge and skills we need to know for the future. Two of the most important things we’ve learned throughout our journey so far are acceptance & respect. Without
Helping people is something I just feel like I have to do and that it is selfish of me not to help a person in need. Growing up in my community and in my family I notice that people don’t really care about you they more so worry about their self. I’m from
I did not grow up in the best environment and my caseworker has helped me cope with the fact that, sometimes, my family is not a positive role model for me. I learned that, even through hard times, not everybody is going to do what they say they are going to do. Having a relationship with my family has been an enormous struggle, because I am very close to them and they have some unhealthy habits, which I know, are not good to deal with. I try not to follow in their footsteps because I want to provide for myself and predict my own future. The differences that Youth services have made in my life are going to help me in the community and make a difference in the future.
If the youth see how people are against them, then the youth will fail to see the point of trying their best, or they will think it is pointless to try to succeed. It is almost like nothing is going to change the way the rest of the today’s society portrays them. This would only lead to more problems concerning society and the youth. In one way, it would cause more negative assumptions to be made than positives. Adults are thought of having high expectations for their children and the negative assumptions would have a huge impact on the outcome for the kids.
I wish to thank my parents for their undivided support and interest who inspired me and encouraged me to go my own way, without whom I would be unable to complete my project. At last but not the least I want to thank my friends who appreciated me for my work and motivated me and finally to God who made all the things possible...
