Why i Want To Be a Theater Director

Purpose. What is ones "purpose" on this crazy world we all call home? For some it takes their whole life to figure it out and some never do. For the longest time I thought I had it all figured out, I love the spot light the feeling of being on stage and entertaining people. but as I got older I started to feel like I was put on this earth not just to entertain but to make a difference in the lives of others through theater since it made such a difference in my life and now the only way I can think of spending the rest of my life is being a theater educator. Everyone knows the saying "those who can do, and those who can't teach". for some this is true, but for most it was a choice, a choice to give up their dreams to make the dreams of another a reality, the ultimate sacrifice. I Am willing to make that sacrifice. I love theater so much, and I want to share it with the world show them how amazing and life changing it can be. teacher are not people who have failed at doing what they love, but people who know that when you love something the best thing to do with that love is share it. the main reason I would like to be a theater educator is because of my theater teachers. since I got into high school I've looked up to them they made such a difference in my life, they made me feel like I was worth something, without them I don't know where I would be today and for them I'm forever grateful. I wont to do for other kids what they did for me. A lot of kids out there don't have a lot to smile about or don't feel like they belong or think they will ever be anybody and its left up to someone brave, willing, and caring enough to give them hope and I wont to be that someone. I want to give people hope so that they too can wont to change the world before I die I wont to look back on my life with no regrets and smile because I know I changed , I
