Since a little kid he knew that he wanted to be an artist, so he left high school to attend the Arts Student League, where he learned the technical skills on which he applied all through his career. In 1916, when Rockwell was just 22, he painted his first cover for The Saturday Evening Post, a magazine that had another 321 covers created by Rockwell, including the Triple Self-Portrait. Created in 1960, The Triple Self-Portrait shows three different views of himself, three different sides of him, created after a long and hard process. The picture shows pencils on the floor, a trash full of drafts and smoke, and on the left corner of his canvas there are five little self-portraits in different positions; all these elements showing what a hard time he had to come up with the painting. At the right corner of the canvas, there are pictures of four of the greatest artists that created self-portraits in history: Durer, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Picasso.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Jeunet worked at the telephone company, a short lived career once his passion for filmmaking intervened. While working at the telephone company, he enrolled in animation school. Lacking any film experience, it was Jeunet’s love for animation that paved the way for his vocation as a director. At an animation festival in the 1970’s, Jeunet met animation artist Marc Caro, his soon to be collaborative partner. Clicking instantly, Jeunet and Caro began to make short films together.

Harvey Firestone was born in Ohio on December 20th, 1838. Even though his parents were just farmers, they encouraged him to get a high school diploma and even go off to college. He completed college courses in Cleveland specializing in business. He then went off to work as a bookkeeper. One of his first jobs was working at the Columbiana Buggy Company with his uncle.
Pixar Animation: Noah Klocek On Monday april 11, 2011 Noah klocek from Pixar Animations was here at American River College in main theater arts building room 547. The topic of the lecture was Pixar Animation. Noah Klocek lecture style was was low energetic. He slowly opened up about himself and his work and what he had to do in order to get this far.He went in to detail about many of his work and the time it takes to create a piece of art.I really liked how he went from one painting to making it come alive into a movie. I disliked how he seemed very shy also took his time to open up about his art work.

Salinger was the youngest of two and the only boy born to his parents, Sol and Miriam Salinger. Salinger was always considered intelligent, however he flunked out of the McBurney School near his home in upper west New York. After flunking out of school, his parents decided to send him to Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pennsylvania (Haudgruff; Salinger).
Author Biography: Gary Paulsen Gary Paulsen wrote many stories that contain adventure. Born on May 17th, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Paulsen wrote stories that contained adventures of the wild. When he was young, he got his first library card and his first book that he ever read. He’s had a passion for reading ever since. When he was 14, he ran away from home and went to travel with a carnival, where he would become many things over the years for a summer job.
This day was portray in one of his essays called, “Notes of a Native Son”. When Baldwin was fifteen, his high-school friend, Emile Capouya, skipped school one day and, while in Greenwich Village he met Beauford Delaney, a painter. Emile gave James the address, and suggested a visit. James, who worked at a sweatshop nearby and dreaded going home after school, visited Beauford. He became a mentor to Baldwin, and Beauford’s influence brought him to his first realization that a black person could be an artist.
