Christian Education is a part of God’s purpose to put everything in Creation under the feet of Christ; it serves as part of His purpose to subdue people from all nations to the glory of God. I also think a Christian Education is a better education, because it feed the soul as well as the mind. It addresses the whole human being; it involves the body, sprit and the mind. One important goal of Christian Education is to teach the student to reason biblically. If each adult person or the parents of younger student took it upon themselves to be more Christ-like and build their foundation of education to glorify God, they would choose the Christian Education over the Public Education, which is controlled by the state.
Dr. Anderson displays a strong foundation of counseling through truth and having a relationship with Christ. Other web based articles were used to support the theory of Anderson’s book. Although the web based articles other different avenues of Christian counseling all of the sources used share a common root, how to show others how to overcome their problems to become healthy well adjusted individuals by using biblical concepts. Christian Counseling to the Spiritually Oppressed Discipleship is receiving instruction from a religious leader and being a follower who has learned to believe in the truth of the doctrine of his teacher. Discipleship in today’s world can be in the form of a Christian counseling.
The only person we need to be like, as a servant leader is Jesus. He shows us how to lead by example in ( John 13:2-17). We need to listen, sit quietly with the Lord, to hear His plan, so we well be able to help others grow, in the Lord. We need empathy, people need to be accepted and recognized for their ideas and feelings. We need Awareness, of what you can change, for our- selfs and others to be a better servant leader.
The teachers spend religion classes informing and preaching to children about Jesus and his life on earth and the main events and miracles of his life. However, this also means that the teacher must believe in what they are teaching, otherwise the process is pointless. The last principal that I feel is distinctive to Catholic Education is that Catechesis is a vital mission of the Church. Catechesis is the maturity of faith and teachers are expected to educate and develop children in the two forms of Catechesis. The first
The Development of a Godly Character c. Vision d. Passion e. How we cooperate with God to fulfill his leadership plans for our live Conclusion My Theology of leadership The Christian Leader: According to Henry Blackaby, to prospective Christian leaders: “If you are a man of little integrity or questionable character, do not expect God to reveal much of himself to you or to use you significantly for his kingdom.” I believe that Leadership in healthy growing churches requires deep spiritual commitment. The first priority of a Christian leader is a close personal relationship with God. Leaders must protect their own spiritual walk with God, which is the foundation of their leadership (Acts 4:1-3). A Christian Leader can help others by sharing something of their own spiritual walk by being actively involved in pastoral ministry and personal evangelism and by setting an example in giving. Personal qualities for leadership are deeply embodied in the New Testament, e.g,( 1Timothy 3).
A few of the bad sides of religion include the way that different religions get stereotyped into the most terrible side of extremists. Another example of the past negativity the church has had in the past is the many crusades the church went on in order to force their outlook on the masses of Europe. There has also been many counts of corruption stemming from the Vatican all the way back to the beginning of the biblical era. Lastly the church has the ability to bring out the vilest sides of some people that turn into extreme groups that castigate and have even killed the people that didn’t follow their norms. The church we are talking about in this context is more the organized institution of church and not the sanctuaries some people confide in or, the community that the Sunday sermon can bring to people.
The Uses and Purposes of a Church There are several purposes to the church, the main being to unite any amount of people for them to worship God and Jesus together; as a congregation. There is also the belief that during mass we are being united not only with each other but with God as well. There are also the special occasions such as Christening and Matrimony which are nearly always hosted within a church. However the whole purpose as to why the church was created was so that they could spread God’s word and people would come to mass in order to be educated about this new-found religion. In a sense, this is what we still do today; we encourage visitors to come to our church hopefully so they can come back once more.
The Last Judgment caused a big dispute between Cardinal Carafa and Michelangelo. It became a big deal because Michelangelo was accused of immorality and vulgarism because it had naked people with their genitals in evidence. It was mostly made a big deal because the image is in a church of Christianity. So then a censorship campaign was organized by Carafa to remove the frescoes. The genitalia in the fresco were covered twenty-four years later.
In addition, in the ministries process, the members of the church should be embracing and participating in the ministries process, and able to internalize the process. Furthermore, called to build lives (Ephesians 4:11-12), and building the body of Christ can be an ongoing process (1 Peter 2:5; Ephesians 2:22). Rainer and Geiger say “ministry needs a clear ministry blueprint." Further, the authors view the process as the essential for the purpose of organizations because, the process that makes it work. The book continues to explain that a simple church can be a congregation’s designs around straight, and forward as well strategies process that move the people through the stage to grow
A child just needs someone to share the gospel with them, talk to them about what they believe, and to pray with them so they can receive a better understanding of Christianity. Sometimes it may take a child a couple times to hear the gospel before the respond to it. That just means that they are trying to comprehend it until they are ready to make a commitment. Sometimes as their teachers we may get frustrated that they are taking so long but we have to understand that they register Christianity terms differently than us. As teachers it is our job to teach the children and help them make a
