The national median salary for medical assistant is $14.12 an hour and $29,370 per year. The demand for jobs in my geographical area is sky rocketing when it pertains to medical assisting. Employment is projected to grow much faster than average, when it comes to being in the health care field. Medical assisting is among the fastest growing occupations over the 2006-2016 decade. No certification is needed, however, one would be eligible for the RMA or any other certifications along the way.
But understanding technology has been a real problem due to the fact that technology is always changing and evolving. This leads to more funds being put into training the staff and physicians to learn how to operate these machines effectively. It also doesn’t help that as the technology evolves, it becomes more expensive. Todd C. Linden, MHA, FACHE, President & CEO of Grinnell Regional Medical Center stated that CT scanners which made thicker slices of section of the diagnostic area of the body have been upgraded to produce thinner slices of sections. The prices of these technology advances have increased from a couple of hundred thousands of dollars to multi-million dollar pieces of equipments.
I am determined to obtain all of the experience and knowledge that it is required to get to where I want to be when I am older. Since I became a certified medical assistant, my eligibility has given me the opportunity to work with kids and some of the most amazing doctors I have met at a pediatrics office. People my age usually complain about having to work and not being able to have all the free time they used to, but I love what I do. As people say, if you love what you do you will never have to work a day in your life. I have great ambition to do what it takes to succeed in my life as a doctor because I have great passion for it and I do not see myself being anything else but a

CCT Paramedics versus Paramedics New River Community College The Advent of Paramedics Since the advent of the paramedic field in the early 1970’s, the level of skill they provide has evolved and expanded at an incredible rate. The need for advanced pre-hospital care has caused a domino effect where every year new skills are learned and implemented by paramedics. Most ambulances today are staffed with paramedics who provide service in a multitude of settings. From providing pre-hospital care as a first responder to a 911 call, to being the sole provider of care on an inter-facility transport, the role of a paramedic changes from minute to minute on any given day. The growth of paramedics and the need for the services they provide has led to the most advanced paramedics to date, the critical care transport paramedic or CCT paramedic.

I checked on the demands for coders in different states and Florida being my preferred state of relocation seems like a good fit for job placement in Medical Billing and Coding. It is expected that job growth in this field will be in high demand all the way until the year 2018. This field is considered a fast growing field in comparison to other occupations in the medical arena. There are other states in which billing and coding have a growing demand, among these are: Texas, California, North Carolina and Georgia and of course Florida. This demand is mainly based on a stable growth in hospitals and physician coding requirements especially for those personnel that have a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential or a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential (Ultimate Medical Academy (UTMA),
I would like to pursue a career as a health care administration that manages the medical staff and team. I will assign specific tasks and responsibilities for resident physicians, doctors, surgeons, nurses, nursing assistants, health care technicians, pharmacists and nutritionists. I will pursue that because I like to manage people, be a leader, and work in a team and love to help people so I think a career in the health care field as an administrator is the best to do. Employment of medical and health services managers is expected to grow by 22 percent from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average for all occupations. Earnings of medical and health services managers vary by type and size of the facility and by level of responsibility.
