During those six weeks I worked on material that helped me get ready for the next grade. For example last summer I took am math class called “Algebra 2, which happens to be a class I knew I would struggle with since math isn’t a subject I’m good at, with the help from the ConnCAP staff they helped me better understand what I was learning by offering me extra help after class and worked with me one on one”. So when school started in the fall I was always ahead of my classmates. I did multiple power points and projects, I learned how to speak in front large crowds professionally and know what to do and what not to do, which would help me in college and in my career. At the end of the six weeks I was required to participate and complete an “End of the program
She said I could say anything I want in my report and that I might not pass on her remarks accurately or I might make her look bad. I assured her that I would make every effort to report her description as best I could. She asked when she should be expecting to receive her upgraded computer and said that she has had to use the computers in the labs since her class began and that she is at a real disadvantage not having her own computer. I told her that SchoolTools makes every effort to resolve customer complaint issues within 6 weeks. She said that would be too late; her course would be more than half over by then.
Final exams are a time of stress for students to worry about if they can recall all the lessons that their professors have went over within that semester. Students who are scarcely passing any of their classes need their final exams to be passing grades, so they tend to study a little harder. Finals also allow students to see how all the lessons they have learned connect through small facts. Identifying and understanding thoroughly everything the professor particularly emphasizes in class can be a hard and tough experience when preparing to study for finals. In Joy Alonso’s “Two Cheers for Examination “she uses examinations to examine the purposes and useless of exams in two and four year colleges to appear to students and teachers.

As a whole, the class had to read the book named "The Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. After completing the task of reading 'The Christmas Carol", the next thing that was required of us was to write an essay on the book. The Shakespeare book I read for freshman year was Julius Caesar. Writing an essay for this type of book was difficult because of the type of literature it was but as I did my research it became much easier. As I continued in high school, we had to read "A Gathering of Old Men" by Ernest Gaines and "When I Was a Puerto Rican" by Esmeralda Santiago over the summer and write what was required of us.
Going Back to School Edgell Ratliff Foundations of Online Learning American Public University System Donna Hardy Going Back to School We all have our own motivation for going back to school; my motivation is centered on setting myself up for the future. It has been four years since I graduated high school and enlisted in the Army, and I have seen firsthand how important it is to have that little piece of paper. I have seen Soldiers retire or separate from the Army without a degree and start the job search without much success, there are a large number of available jobs, but there is a larger number people competing to get that same position. Seeing how difficult it can be and how people struggle in today’s competitive job
As a junior in high school, I am approaching some very big life decisions fast. Now is the time in my life where I am expected to start narrowing down career choices and looking into the right schools that fit my choice. I have decided that working as an OBGYN is a major possibility because of my fascination in the medical field and the mentorship I am involved in at Augusta health. After looking into this career more this year, I have discovered so many accounting factors. However, reaching the title of an OBGYN takes time, money and love for the career which is the reasoning behind this paper.
I interview all of the students on site at CLC prior to their class time when possible and they spoke candidly about their instructors and how they felt that some of the work was too hard, while others felt they were not going to be able to meet the challenge expected of them for their education. Some students felt there is too much information being given to them at one time and not enough time for them to digest information between the college and the high school. There were students during these interviews who felt that their problems begins with time management as they try to process, gather, research, and prepare for projects and class experiences. Some students told me that they feel the college instructors expect too much from them over multiple subjects. Because some students feel they are not properly prepared or skilled in study habits for college work, they expressed that they are failing certain courses either at the high school level or with the dual credit program.
Dutton-5th AP Lang November 6, 2013 Entering the Conversation Essay The “American High School” was originally intended for students who wanted to further educate themselves. That was until Horace Mann decided to modernize the education system by introducing standardized textbooks, extending the school year from the original two to three month periods to ten months out of the year, and finally making attendance for school mandatory. The main focus point on educating American students in high schools has sadly altered throughout the years into a civilian-preparation center. Teaching them how to sit quietly for numerous hours out of the day trying to retain information, while their enjoyment for their courses is slowly dying. Students are also maturing much earlier than when the education system was first created, therefore keeping them in
