There are many times when we think critically. In fact, I think that critical thinking is part of most people's daily lives however, we are not always aware that we are already doing it. Before anything else, let me define first what critical thinking is. Critical thinking is when a person is questioning and/or reasoning about his/her beliefs and actions. It is when we analyze and make a certain judgement about what has happened. Critical thinking is a daily occurrence in my everyday life. I think critically on simple things like deciding what to wear, buying something, how to go to school, where to spend my allowance and how to save money are just some of the things where I get to use my critical thinking skills. There is this one event in my life where I was required to think critically. It's when I need to choose what university to attend and what course to take. This is the moment where I need to question myself about my capabilities and interests and what I wanted to do in my whole life because going to college is preparing for my future. In each of my daily activities that I listed, I have to look for information, conceptualize alternatives, asses the alternatives in connection to my aims and reach some conclusion. All of these process are part of critical thinking. When I first heard of critical thinking, first thing that came up to my mind is tough. Before I thought that not all people can think critically and only those who's IQ is high can do such thinking. I thought that we can only think critically on problems that is needed to be analyzed by professionals only. I was wrong. We all think critically and we always practicing it
