Some people view sororities as clubs but they are businesses that conduct business from the funds that are provided within the organization itself. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was established by five college coeds that envisioned a sorority that would encourage and directly affect positive change, raise consciousness of the African American people (it was established in 1920 while the Ku Klux Klan was very active), encourage high standards of scholastic achievement, and to foster unity amongst its members. A constituent survey would benefit the organization because it would bring awareness to the group about what they can do differently
Dear: National Junior Honor Society Committee I currently represent the “Character” Trait of NJHS by being honest to others and very workable with my fellow peers. Many people rely on me as a very good person to come to in a great time of need. I deeply care for my family and other people. I also listen to others ideas to help improve their idea or to help make it a reality. I will use all of these characteristics to help this organization reach out to people in need.

All of my magnet classes, from the beginning, taught me all the necessary things in order for me to be ready for my “job.” The teachers, especially, helped us be ready this internship had in store for us. Because I was so ready for this internship, it had a positive influence on my life. Since day one, everyone impacted me in a different way where it made me feel accepted in some sort of way. This internship really opened my eyes to things that others don’t see; those who don’t share the same passion as me. I was able to go beyond the wall of commodity and experience true friendships.
In time, I grew to appreciate, understand, and care for their unique needs, and as a result, time passed quickly as my communication, patience, and problem solving abilities improved. More importantly, through this one-on-one experience, I learned a lot about the community. I learned that a seemingly small gesture of kindness or support could truly make a difference in the lives of the special needs students that I worked with, and in turn, their smiles and laughter gave me a sense of
For the social significance; establish a caring community to help volunteers understand better the community. Volunteer service is to express love, caring, sharing positive action. It is not only promoting mutual assistance also among people care more for social harmony at all levels. Through volunteer activities, raise public awareness for the responsibility to everyone in the society. And cultivate a sense of belonging to society, civic responsibility, dedication and contribution to society.
Over time I was able to see the positive the effects these sessions had on the children and their families. Conducting these sessions has taught me the importance of incorporating the foster parents. I was able to help the parents implement techniques and strategies that resulted positive behavior changes in the children. I have never been more ready or eager to take the next step in my journey and begin my studies in mental health counseling. I believe this program will lead me to a fulfilling career, which will be rewarding in terms of the help I will provide to others.
Community service is a kind of service that a person or a group of volunteers accomplish for the benefits of their local or any other community. It is working at no cost to give something back to the community. It is work that we as students analyze it as a call to reflection on social responsibility and so we take awareness that we do not live alone in this world, we are not the only human beings and out there in the world are many people who are facing many problems in their lives and we as a community can help them to make things easier and improve their lives, so the they of tomorrow they will be the ones who are helping us building a better community for everyone. This year like the last one, as a student volunteer, I collaborate with the pilgrimage at Saint Paul. This pilgrimage is reflected as a prayerful journey, a sacred walk, supporting this year to the children of Rwanda, who still suffer from the aftereffects of the genocide of 1994, for the Hope for Rwanda’s Children Fund.
From the people who plan the events and lead the people under them to what they are doing, to the people working for them to make their community better. It makes it so much better mentally when it goes perfectly and everyone including the people who work are happy. You learn so many life skills from what you do when you work to make your community a better place. My sophomore year of high school. I went to the longest community service event I have ever experienced.
Volunteering allows us to connect with the community and sets us apart from the crowd helping us develop perspectives. It can help us to realize our interests and goals. It also provides practical skills such as so that we can demonstrate initiative, leadership skills and the ability to maintain the positive view of life through volunteer work. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, especially when you are new to an area. Firstly, we all know that one of the best ways to make new friends and strengthen existing relationships is to commit to a shared activity.
