Assignment 3a What is a stakeholder? Stakeholder refers to a person, group or organization that has interest or concern in an organisation. Stakeholders can affect or be affected by the organisation's actions, objectives and policies. Some examples of key stakeholders are creditors, directors, employees, government (and its agencies), owners (shareholders), suppliers, unions, and the community from which the business draws its resources. A stakeholder is defined as a person or group that has an investment, share, or interest in something, as a business or industry. This is not just limited to someone who has purchased stock in a company, which is defined as a shareholder. Stakeholders for Apple Inc. include: Shareholders Lenders Apple employees Manufacturers and their employee Software developers Customers Suppliers Music industry The Government The local community Pressure group Stakeholder Analysis In this section of my work, I will be looking at most of the stakeholders above and talk about how they can influence the business. I will also rank them in the order of priority, Customers Apple needs customers as they are the people who buy theirgoods or services. Customers will be interested in range of goods and services offered the Price and quality of goods, the helps from the staff etc.Customers are one of the most important stakeholders; without customers Apple will not be able to run as a business.They are the resource upon which the success of Apple depends.
