What is Good About Having Art, P.E., and Music Classes in School?

Which is your favorite, art, P.E., or music? Music is my favorite class. What would you do if they took these classes you of your school? Wouldn’t school be boring without it? Art is where all of the artists can be their selves. Art teaches us about the artists, how to shade, how to paint details, and the history of art. Thirty three percent of the students in the United States are visual learners. Art provides a common ground across racial stereotypes, barriers, and prejudice. Art teaches kids to think openly and it represents different cultures. Most of all, art stimulates both sides of your brain. Physical education, P.E., is good for your body and your mind. Physical fitness develops a students motor skills and hand eye coordination. Many doctors agree obesity is bad for your health. Our country especially our kids are overweight and under exercised. Too many couch potatoes. P.E. also strengthens your upper and lower body muscles. Your cardiovascular system will not work properly without a good workout about once a day. If there was no P.E. in schools there would be more sick children. Physical fitness help to instill in children the preservation and choosing a lifestyle that’s good for them. Music improves critical reading and writing skills and adjusts memory. Music training has been linked to temporal reasoning skills. Music helps optimal brain neuron development and circuitry. It expands multiple intelligences and helps students transfer study. Music improves understanding homework and enables a higher level of concentration. Children who study music usually have a better attitude. So think about how bad school would be without art, P.E., or music around. We would all be overweight, sluggish couch potatoes that were unhappy and have bad attitudes. So get off of the couch, run
