What Is Air Pollution Polluting air with any kind of alien substance such as carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, carbon mono-oxide, hydrogen sulphide, volatile organic compounds, chlorine, chloroform, chlorine dioxide, etc and making environment dangerous to live for living species is called air pollution. There is more than one thing that contributes in polluting air. Some of them are listed below. Fermentation of corn generates ethanol and releases fugitive emmision. Odour from poultry and livestock also contribute to air pollution from this source. Ø Automotive industry, motor and vehicles This source is one of the major contributor in causing air pollution. Fine droplets from the over spray of paint spray application and the accompanying from automotive industry cause air pollution along with carbon dioxide and carbon mono-oxide produced by motor vehicles every day. Gives out fire particles of dust, calcium phosphate, titanium dioxide, and silicon etc from Styrofoam manufacturing and oxidation/reduction process to name few. Ammoniated compound and organic acids created as sub micron fumes from fertilizer industry Automobile exhaust adversely affects the health of animals, plants and the chemical nature of the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon emissions (Two of the major components of automobile exhaust contributed significantly to global warming. Carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon levels cause sunlight to be reflected and trapped within the atmosphere, slowly raising the atmospheric temperature By increasing the amount of "heat-trapping" gases, we are adding to the warming effect of the natural atmospheric greenhouse. This could warm the planet and have a huge effect on all forms of life. The global sea level could rise due to several factors including melting ice and glaciers. Rising sea levels could damage coastal regions through
