Once I recognize these strengths I can achieve success not only in college, but in my overall life. My top five themes in my Strengths Quest Insight Review came out to be Restorative, Includer, Consistency, Futuristic, and Achiever. All of my themes were correct however some of the information that was included in the summary is not necessarily true. Before I took the Strength Quest I was for the most part aware of my weaknesses but not so much aware of my strengths. Now that I have taken it I have a much better understanding of what theme

This indicates that I am a strong leader, and my skills are well balanced, which provide a stable work environment, and my followers will be confident in my leadership abilities. Even though the lowest-rated categories still fell within “very good,” I feel I can use the Seven Habits Profile as an opportunity to improve in these four categories. Based on his research he derives four competencies of leaders from ten personality characteristics that great leaders share. The ten personality characteristics are self-knowledge, open to feedback, eager to learn, curious risk takers, concentrates at work, learn from adversity, balance tradition & change, open style, work well with systems and serve as models & mentors.
I receive positive feedback from my manager, she had over heard me talking to a service user who was being challenging with me, she explained she was very happy with the way I dealt with the situation calmed things down before they became worst. The inability to look past the right choice to the most beneficial one, the obligation to right versus wrong, and the idea of equality in the workplace may result in problems in the workplace for a person who holds these values within the obligation category. Reflection To realize their goals, organizations need to enlist the support of their employees. This assignment has provided me the insight to be able to identify some of the barriers that has complicated the communication process within my organization. Through my research I have gathered that communication cannot be easily defined but the conclusion has been the same among all researchers. They all agree that effective communication is a vital component in the achievement of high customer satisfaction. During my research I have concluded the foundation of a good organization is regular and complete communication.
Sederer encourages leadership skills such as motiving employees to work harder by believing in them as well as supporting them (Sederer, Leadership). Discussion: Leadership in the work place keeps structure so tasks can get accomplished in a business, but not everyone has the traits to be a leader. I agree with O’Keefee opinion that leadership is not a born trait it is learned through practicing, motivation, and the desire to do the job well (O’Keefee, Leadership). When I started my job, six- years ago in retail, I had no experience but through the years I have learned many traits about becoming an effective leader. I started as a sales associate with hard work I learned how to do my job well.

Assigning specific tasks to workers allows the company to hire specifically based on the ability of the worker to do a very specific job. In this way efficiency can be increased as a worker should be performing the job that he is comparatively best suited to perform and nothing else. Competition amongst workers can also be increased as there is a specific metric to judge by. The cost of training a worker is also reduced as the worker does not have to be trained in every aspect of the company only what he is going to be doing.
