Founding Fathers George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams were known as the American Founding Fathers. They founded the United States of America and were leaders of the America Revolution. They expressed peoples frustration and resentment with the British ruler and acted on that anger to declared independence and lead the country threw eight years of war to achieve it. They wrote the constitution and persuaded people to accept and ratify it. And also formed the first government under Washington and served in the first congresses. It is the oldest and shortest written Constitution of any major government in the world. Of the spelling errors in the Constitution, Pennsylvania about the signers' names is probably the most glaring. The Constitution was penned by Jacob Shallus, A Pennsylvania General Assembly clerk, for $30 today its $726 . The American Revolutionary War began in 1775. British soldiers and American patriots started the war with battles at Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. Colonists in America wanted independence from England. The British government attempted to pass some laws, enforce several taxes, and increase more control over the colonies. The colonies strongly objected to these laws and taxes. The founding fathers put the constitution in place and we still use it. We people still use the Bill of Rights which limits the power the government has If I could ask a Founding Father something I would ask George Washington why would you go to war? How did they come up with electing presidents? How come it took so long to invent the technology that we use to day? And why did they elect you as the very first president? Those are the Five Founding Fathers. And that is why they are the founding fathers .And that is what I would ask one if I meet
