All 7 individuals, including the bank employees, and the 3 police officers claimed the award. Procedural History: The court established that only one police officer (the defendant) is entitled to the award. Points of View: The Bank employees believe that the information they provided to the police officers lead to the arrest of the bank robbers and that they were entitle to the award. The Police officers who arrested the bank robbers also believed that they were entitle to the award as well. In a publics’ eye, bank employees are highly ethical people who should protect the money, people, and businesses as well as the deposits in the bank.
Operational aspects: All staff and students are strictly asked to wear ID cards at all times when in campus to avoid unwanted visitors and to make sure that whether a person belongs to the college or not. People who are already wealthy and commit white-collar crimes should not be let off easily. They hurt innocent peoples pockets while pocketing money for themselves. Prison time is like a death sentence to those who grew up having everything they ever wanted. Once people become greedy and start committing crimes like Martha Stewart then they deserve to get punished for stealing money. Prison rehabilitates criminals and once freedom, money and life’s luxuries are taken away from white-collar criminals then they will learn that committing such crimes are not worth prison time.
