The welfare system is an important part of American families with low-income or no-income to survive, but Americans who are uneducated about the welfare system and what it does for these families may be willing to shut down the program because of the few who abuse the state and government programs. For those who don’t know much about welfare this paper is going to give a little history on where it began and why, what programs are considered to fall under the welfare name, where to get more information, the rules and some of the problems and possible solutions that are considered when dealing with the welfare system.
