Joe wants to be able to renew this contract since it does provide 50% of sales. Bill has invited Joe to go out on the yacht for the weekend with his wife. Bill has said that it would be good to catch up since it has been so stressful with work and contracts that are being talked.. Joe is unsure of what to do with the invitation. He has decided to consult with his management team since he has been invited to go to the yacht with Bill and does not want to jeopardize his friendship or his employment status.
Marriage is another part that should not be jumped into too hastily, and should be taken as a serious commitment. One of my close friends once met a nice girl at his college one day, and they were married seven months later. I’ve met my share of nice girls, but deciding five months into a relationship that this person is “the one” and popping the question shortly thereafter? I don’t think that is nearly enough time to get to know a person fully, let alone get enough info to learn whether or not you would be willing to spend the rest of your life with this person! While the experience of the lesson itself is very important for growth, learning to adapt to the changes after can be another lesson entirely. The most drastic change in my life occurred about five years ago. My parents got a divorce which also resulted in a move that took my brother and I three hours from the only place we knew as home. Not only did I have to accept the fact that my parents were no longer going to be together, I was also now being forced to start from scratch in a very unfamiliar environment. I had to get used to a new city, a new school, new friends and a whole new life.
And my grandmother had a high school education. She became a house wife with five children. So selling the idea to them was going too hard to convince them. I had the whole school year to talk to them. So when I see them on the weekend, I would try to fill them out.
You sell the big house and move into a small condo. When you cannot wipe your behind, you go from the condo to a nursing home. Your children are too busy to have you share their homes. They visit every presidential election year. Once again, you think of going home but no, it is rather too late for that.
