The development of technology nowadays has helped many companies to cope with the increasing demand of their clients. The use of the internet, in particular, has revolutionized the way people deal with so many things on the Worldwide Web, from shopping, chatting with friends and family, to selling stuff. Banking industry has also followed this technological development and tries to serve its clients through a large amount of internet services which is more commonly known as the web banking. However, due to the lack of knowledge and sometimes the fear of being hacked, some people still avoid using the internet services and prefer the traditional way of banking. No matter what the case is, there are both advantages and disadvantages regarding the web banking. Internet banking has so many advantages; one of them is that it allows you to do banking transactions anywhere in the world 24/7, such as paying your bills and checking on your account, making it very convenient on your part. Your online bank practically never closes which gives you flexibility and accessibility to your money anytime of the day. Another advantage of internet banking is that it is very quick and efficient. You can also access many bank accounts from a single site or an application from your personal computer. As everything else in the world, however, internet banking has also some drawbacks. The major disadvantage of internet banking is that it requires some kind of knowledge as far as the use of the corresponding web sites and the functionality they offer are concerned. Some people may find it hard to create and use a banking account although banks offer many online services and technical support which can be very handy.
