Americans know “racial profiling is both morally wrong and ineffective”, but they rather be safe than sorry (Chavez 563). Americans only get the idea that all middle easterners are terrorists because media has taken the role of portraying them in such a way to plants terror in Americans (Spurlock). People have gotten to the point of people being “singled out” because of looking certain way or because people around them feel uncomfortable (Chavez 569).
b) It impacts your IT environment because without this things would get leaked and confidential information will be available to other countries. c) I don’t believe my organization complies with all of the requirements because I don’t work so this does not

This problem can easily be linked to the availability of guns. “The debate over whether guns are a hallowed tradition and a right guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the U.S.constitution or whether they are a fearful danger contributing to crime and violence." (‘Gun Control") Due to the outbreak of violence in our society, some people feel that repealing the Second Amendment would solve the problem. These people feel that repealing the Second Amendment would solve the problem.
The President is a human being like you and I. He is not a superhero who can get things done with a blink of an eye. I am not saying the President isn’t a brilliant man because there’s no doubt he is. I am just saying that with the high degree of difficulty and all the new things going on in our modern era, getting things done is very stressful and not only that people assume they are not trying. “When a new president takes
Julissa Santiesteban Professor Kaluzshski English 101-78525 1 April 2013 Terrorism: Who Owns the Term? All over the United States, Americans obliviously connect the terms “terrorism” to “terrorists.” Mainly due to political messages and mainstream media, we automatically have a specific image that enters our minds when we hear news about terrorism. Terrorism is a global phenomenon that is easily recognized yet difficult to define. What does the term terrorism stand for? Everyone has their own definition; therefore this question has no definite answer.
Because of the fear of privacy invasion, the different federal agency databases were held on individual agency specific computer systems and were not accessible to anyone, but the owner. Having such a compartmentalized system did not give law enforcement nor intelligence the ability to assist each other in putting together potentially complex terror plots, and often the more sophisticated the terror plot, the more potential for mass killing (White, 2006). Communication is key in all parts of life, and especially important when dealing with such dire consequences. The USA PATRIOT Act, in Title VII, granted the expansion of information sharing systems in order to better facilitate communication between all agencies involved in counterterrorism. This called for the implementation of the Regional Information Sharing System (RISS) as a central database for all law enforcement to use (USA PATRIOT Act, 2001).
The War in Iraq Isn’t it interesting how the media portraits the war in Iraq? It’s always the negative points and never the good ones. There is so much disbelief and lying about our military and government that it is disgusting! Everyone believes that this war is pointless and stupid, however it needed to be done to make an example! The United States is the strongest government in the world and the media puts it down so very hard.
Without perseverance, comes no solution. The importance of SOB’s efforts is really the main idea behind it all. If we don’t exercise our rights by protesting for a just cause, they will be taken for granted and taken away. The importance of protests is somewhat diminished as time goes by because we can’t march to better healthcare or cause civil disobedience to change the budget deficit. We need to conduct meetings and propose a plan
The anger the terrorist had against America is unethical. It does not make it right. Bush points out that, “Terrorist attacks can shake the foundation of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America”. Our nation has always been strong but these evil acts have affected many. The nation came together to give blood and help in anyway.
It’s crazy to me to think that people would rather be safe than be free. Did we forget why we are here, I know that things are different now and it’s a necessary thing to do, but in reality we can’t stop terrorism, it’s a strategy, a concept, it’s something we try to make sense of and put the blame on one entity. Terrorism could be anyone and anything, it’s not one target it’s multiple and no matter how hard we try we cannot end it, it’s an endless war that will only get worse. I believe the Patriot Act will expand as terrorism becomes more powerful and simultaneously so will the infringing on people’s rights. I do agree and I can give in to some things on the act but I must refuse it because it’s just one step closer for the government to control us
