Fernando Chaves The Water Scarcity Water is natural resource that everybody think it is inexhaustible, but it really is. Water is the essential factor of live. Human, animals and plants need the water to live. Even though theoretically there are enough and that the major part of the planet is formed for it, water is beginning to scares. Many people think that how the natural cycle of water is a close circle, there is no way to have lack of this resource. Some researchers have estimated that with these levels of uses, by 2050 water won’t be enough. Right now there is sufficient water for everybody, but also there are some factor that could lead to the water scarcity such as; trends to increase the consumption due to the population growth and the improvement of living standards, the increasing urbanization, and the climate changes and pollution. Other factors that could lead to the water scarcity are the misuse and the poor public awareness of the scaring of the resource. This is why global institutions have taken awareness and have made regulations, and proposes new technologies to improve the methods of the use of the water. Right now the planet’s reserve of potable water is enough for everyone, but the fact is that there is a big number of people that don’t have the privileges of receiving potable water. It is unbelievable that more than 2 million people die for water deceases. The privatization of this resource is one of the biggest problems that are affecting the global community. Many corporations have privatized the water in some different places, and the result is the isolation of millions of people for the potable water. Due to this a lot of people that have the necessity to drink polluted water full of bacteria or chemicals toxics. This have brought terrible consequences to the society such as; the increasing of birth defects and cancer rate, the
