Water is a chemical formula called H2O and is a molecule made up of two hydrogen atoms, one oxygen atom and connected by covalent bonds. Water is also the most amazing substance in that can become a solid, a gas and a liquid naturally. There is nothing else like it. Water is not only one of the most amazing substances people has here on earth, but it is also the most abundant, covering nearly 70% of our planet’s surface. It’s a good thing that we have so much water on this planet, as globally the census estimates that we have over 6,961,446,447 people and every one of them depends on clean drinking water for their survival. Water helps our bodies function in so many ways; it’s not something to be taken lightly. Why is water such an important part of our diet, It is because our body is made up of over 60% of water, and in order for our body’s to work right we must make sure that our bodies have enough to function properly. The water in our bodies creates cushions for our joints and keeps our eyes clean. Water in our bodies helps us digest the food we eat and regulates our body temperatures. How? Water is in the bile and it is secreted when we chew food and when we become to hot our bodies will sweat to help our temperature become more regulated. It is important to include water in your diet when possible. Eating is a great way to intake water during meals. When we eat water is in many of the foods and vegetables we consume, and our bodies can absorb it. Because water is so important to the way our bodies function it is a good thing that we don’t have to drink all that we need. We can get water not only from drinking it but from the foods that we eat too. If something occurs and our bodies are not able to get the water that it needs then the way our bodies work will be altered. Some of the first signs in the beginning of dehydration are dry eyes and headaches. If
