Question 1 According to the article Wal Mart company embraced a cost leadership strategy which focused on producing products at low cost .Primarily ,this strategy emphasize on low cost and price stabilization at the the low end of the market .Although, it focus also on social matters and customers issues such as enable customers to save money and have better life. Question 2 The strategies that Ducke cherished are focused on fourth aspects such as becoming a global company ,understanding the business challenges ,concentrate on social issues and keep the culture strong everywhere . All of these strategies are widely formulated by many leaders and dealing with different aspects to achieve different purposes of any organization. Ducke’s strategies are diverse in which they balance between the short term and the long term as well as emphasizing on the external and the internal part of the company performance . Question 3 As a president of the world largest company I think its important to be concern even about the tiny details. One of the qualities of successful company is to keep improving and to keep an eye on the small details. Duck earlier realized that customers pay attention to all the details in the stores , from that point he followed a strategy that focused on freshened up stores and giving them cleaner and less cluttered look in the purpose of satisfy the customers. Question 4 one of the strategies that Wal Mart would follow to overcome the decline of sales is the strategy of product and global diversification. The essence of this strategy is to focus on selling product and goods across borders to enhance market opportunities.
