Introduction Violence against women remains a serious matter throughout the entire world. There is no race, creed colour, age, or religion that violence against women affects. Every single day women are constantly being abused by their husbands or intimate partners. At present it is a violation of women’s human rights. Presently, in Trinidad and Tobago violence against women is on the increase. Violence against women can impact women in many ways and they are being abused emotionally, physically and sexually. We will view the how the impacts of violence against women can affect the victims life.Victims are often isolated from society They may be unable to care for themselves and their children The severity of their injuries could lead them to commit suicide or murder. The victims may have unwanted pregnancies, or try to end the pregnancy, and increased chances of getting a sexual transmitted infections.
