1.Introduction 1.1. Definition Violence can be defined by any deliberate act, serving no legitimate purpose, which causes injury or which could reasonably be expected to cause injury to another person. To be considered reportable, the conduct should be either intentional or reckless in nature. (Basic Education Circular on Safe Schools, 1996). In other words, Violence is defined as a physical force used to injure, damage or destroy (Guralnik, D., 1997, this work, we will focus on school violence which can be defined as any school related activity that produces a victim. 1.2. Brief overview on the question on violence Violence in schools is an increasing problem throughout the world in general and especially in the United States of America. Violence ranges from bullying aggressions stealing, harming and physical threats to more serious and deadly situations, such as students opening fire in a classroom. Scenes can take place after school, in a playground, during sport activities or even in the classroom during lessons. Violence causes its victims a lot of suffering. Students become nervous, stressed, scared depressed and won't go to school anymore. That is why parents and teachers community leaders have begun to more aggressively challenge violence and bullying in schools by educating people about school violence and methods to reduce this serious problem. 2. Causes of violence In order to be able find a solution to this problem of violence in our schools, the causes must be investigated accurately. 2.1. Behavioral Problems Certain disorders in children personality, like problems in communication, lack of self-esteem and impulsiveness are at the origin of violence. Children suffering from behavioral problems may not be able to blend into school activities and may feel left out and ignored. Such
