Vacation Spot Essay

The perfect vacation spot would have to be Cozumel, Mexico. Along with isolated islands and crystal clear waters, this serene location is home to many extravagant rock cliffs and shorefront shops. Cozumel is the largest island in Mexico, on the Yucatan Peninsula, adjacent to the island of Cuba. Surrounded by the majestic Caribbean Sea, the island is a large tourist attraction for Carnival Cruise Lines, with daily visits from tourists traveling from Florida. One of the most profound features of the island of Cozumel is the plethora of encircling smaller islands. Smooth sand surrounds these isles while amazing warm breezes drag over the surface. The gentle rolling winds carry the palm trees green branches outwards while growing coconuts rattle in place. On some of these islands, people set up large intricate beautiful straw entwined tiki bars where others can go to enjoy themselves a cold refreshing Dos Equis, the most commonly served beer in Cozumel, or a variety of fresh smoothies made right in front of you with succulent fruits of all kinds. Massage booths, hammocks and activities such as volleyball are all available. Another great benefit is the amazing rock cliffs and swimming reservoirs. From the top, the drop is a reasonable twenty feet, a safe distance to jump if desired. The water is perfect pearlescent blue, so clear algae can be seen in patchwork on the water surface, inside the water the temperature is just right, ranging from 75 to 85 degrees. The warm swirling feeling of the water flowing against skin can easily entice one to stay in for hours. This is a great spot to take the family out for a day of fun. Many shops are set up on the border of the island. These shops have a very different feel to them than stores in the states. Double glass doors are located on each wall except where the register is located, and ornate tables are spread separately
