A good example of this is the introduction of loyalty cards which are now available in the majority of shops, which return in points to the customer after they make a purchase (which are often valued in money e.g. 1 point=pence)The more they purchase the more points they get in return. The reason they’ve introduced them is because it encourages customers to come back to the store which means they are turning into regular customers, which would definitely benefit the business. Customer support processes for online systems As new technology has been introduced, there need to be customer support and guidance of how to use the product. Nowadays this can be find on internet , on the website of the company where they’ve got the product from where the customer can even send an email directly which can be answered shortly. Another way companies deal with customer’s enquiries is by using the systems where a customer has to ring a specific number and then it comes with option “press 1 if....” ,
