Since its opening many other similar businesses opened its doors. HIGH, this is the most important asset for Myra’s business. Yes, because even when she already established a good service there are other business providing same services. SUPPLIER POWER - Vast selection of suppliers. However, Myra is not familiar with any of them and she order supplies only when she is almost out. HIGH. Myra needs to research more about the best prices. Yes, she needs to find better suppliers and developed an organized system to process orders. THREAT OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES - Services provided by the business can be easily substitute by other business. Challenge to stay on top in the area. - Very difficult to prevent new entrants (easy access market at a moderate start up cost). MEDIUM,competition is expanding. Therefore, she needs to encourage customer loyalty by offering good customer service. Yes, lower prices or excellent customer service can help strategy for competitive advantage.
