There are many examples of MNC's such as Nike or Primark. MNC's play a massive part in the development of globalisation as they often invest heavily into the country they move into. They will build good quality factories to produce the goods and also introduce effective manufacturing methods. These manufacturing methods can be replicated by other businesses in the countries and improve their ability to manufacture goods.

Political Factors Enhancing the skill of the working population is all about improving the skills of employed people whether it is enhancing skills within schools and university, or the government putting more money into training days and programs for workers to improve on their skills and gain more. Improving the skills of employed people will impact any businesses activities because if the government are willing to put money in to helping and improving the skills of workers within a business, this will give people to apply for job opportunities and different job roles as they will have more skills behind them than before; meaning they are more varied with their skills. For example, if the workers within a business had been in training programs and had gained a whole load of new skills, this would make then much more flexible for the business as it would make them able to take on more job roles and step in for tasks that need to be done. This will improve and impact the businesses activities as businesses will have more skilled and efficient workers than can maybe help with more activities and aims to help them achieve their purpose.

At Clapton Commercial Construction Company, training and development is a priority for all employees, from the lower level to the highest. “The training should influence the transfer of learning and skills from the training situation to the effectives of applying it to the job situation” (Cascio, 2012, p. 316). Workplaces are employing in a more diverse atmosphere which can include race, gender, ethnic groups, age, personality, organizational function, and educational background to name a few. Diversity may also include the perception of one another and how it can affect one’s interactions. By identifying differences amongst one another an organization can embrace the diverseness and understand the benefits of having a diverse staff. Companies that have chosen to demonstrate the effects of having a diverse organization are Cummins, Wellpoint, currently called Anthem, and Verizon Communications. The three companies have welcomed the opportunity of a diverse organization and has helped them succeed within their respected industries.
