Abstract Herzberg is the founder of the two factor theory. In this report, we involve four parts. Firstly, we will introduce the history of two factor theory. Furthermore, we analyze the benefits and the limitation of the theory. Moreover, we analyze the two factor theory based on the case. In the case, we observe how the theory is applied on the company. We analyze whether the theory can be applied effectively or not. After that, we propose some suggestion to managers who can motivate their employees to work productively. Finally, we conclude that what the inspiration we get from the two factor theory. Herzberg's findings showed that certain characteristics of a job are consistently associated with job satisfaction, while different factors are related to job dissatisfaction. Factors for Satisfaction: Achievement, Recognition for achievement, Responsibility, Advancement, Work itself. Factors for Dissatisfaction: Company policies and administration, Salary level, Relationships with others, Working conditions, Supervision.
