There is another way to move away from being so original and that is by adding tuition reimbursement to the package. There are numerous careers that a person can hold within these two fields of employment. Business majors may obtain a job in public relations, product promotions, business owner, manager, advertising, and marketing. Communication majors can obtain a job such as: public speaker, written communications such as Journalism, magazines, newspapers, communication software use, media interactions, recruiting, and interviewing. These career fields are so broad that any company would need someone in many of these jobs listed above to work for them and that is one of the reasons why the tuition reimbursement program is such a benefit for all parties involved. In a case study called Pay for Learning-It Pays presents some figures that point out what tuition reimbursement can do for a company that does offer it to its employees. For participants in the study, it showed higher job mobility and about 82.5% are more likely to have a positive job change than non-participants. The same case study talked about service tenure, how long an employee stays with a company, the average for participated employees was 21.3 years while it ranged from5.6 to 49 years. The first major benefit the company will see is retention of qualified employees. Once a person is qualified for the job they want to have and received their degree in that particular field he or she is going to want to stay at that company and have their job become their career. Job stability is hard to obtain and have a bachelor’s degree helps increase the chance of this happening. Another benefit is that is keeps the employees satisfied because he or she is gaining new knowledge and skills that they can apply to their position and increases the possibility of them staying with the company longer. Lastly, having an education assistance program can help improve the company’s professional image when working with clients, it can develop leaders within the company, and help others become excellent team
