TRUE LOVE WAITS In our True Love Waits seminar, there are many lessons I have learned wherein some I need to avoid and some I need to follow by heart. The seminar aims to teach teenagers or young people like us to wait for the right time and that there is always a right time for everything like courtship and marriage. We all know that by the power of love itself that, sometimes, there is nothing we can do. We can only hope and wait in silence. Understanding and waiting is a sign of maturity. This is the dynamism of true love. Love that waits, endures all things. A love that will never come to an end; the kind of love that compel us, in faith, to light a candle to illuminate the unaware shadow that don't allow us to see the light of God in times of obscurity. And it is most advisable to involve God in a relationship. It also taught us that God’s love is the greatest love of all, thus, He deserves our true love. It may be a difficult, even painful, experience, but it is rich, deep and fulfilling. You don’t have to wait for marriage to experience that. But when you have a deep relationship with your partner, don’t be too carried away for it may lead to sex. You should not hurry on these things. If you really love each other, it is much better and sweeter when you do it after marriage. You will have no regrets and you will feel the love more than ever with your partner. This is God’s purpose for sex. He designed it to be enjoyed within the context of marriage between the couple and it is the proclamation of unity, faithfulness and selflessness.
