Further investigation would reveal accounts showing that still more thousands had passed through their bank and credit card accounts, supporting their travel, living expenses, and purchases, in the months leading up to their arrests. Examination of the burglars' accounts showed the link to the 1972 Committee to Re-Elect the President, through its subordinate finance committee.

Case Study #1 – BLAW 205-009 Case: Donald Trump University suit by NY Attorney General Facts: DTU held a series of “seminars” in NYC that ranged in cost from $1,000 to $35,000. The attendees were given the impression or lead to believe that these “seminars” would be conducted by individuals who did not actually appear. Attendees were not given clear opportunities to obtain employment after said “seminars”. The NY AG filed a $40MM suit against Donald Trump for misleading the participants. Trump responded with a claim that the AG is merely playing politics; and he further issued responses from participants which appear to show a high rate of satisfaction.
In 1981 Giuliani earned the position of Associate Attorney General which is the third highest position in the department of justice. After running for mayor of the city of New York in 1989 and getting beat, Giuliani decided to run again in 1993 where he successfully became the 107th mayor of NY and held the position for 2 terms. From the day that he was appointed mayor, he made it a point to have daily morning meetings at 8am sharp. As mayor he had thousands of people working under his command that he had to communicate with which was not an easy task. This is why at his daily meetings he had his “top staff” present these were the people who best represented their important department or agency and could report the mayors decisions and advice back to everyone.
Previous attempts at federal bankruptcy laws had lasted at most a few years. This act was drastically amended by The United States Bankruptcy Act of 1938, known as the Chandler Act, expanded voluntary access to the bankruptcy system and made voluntary petitions more attractive to debtors. The Chandler Act gave authority to the Securities and Exchange Commission in the administration of bankruptcy filings. One effect of the Act was to remove investment banks from control of the corporate reorganization process by eliminating the equity receivership technique. In its place, a trustee was appointed by the bankruptcy court to oversee the reorganization process.
In 2001 Bernard Goldberg released his book “Bias A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News.” In it Goldberg voices his accounts at CBS where he worked as a reporter and a producer for nearly thirty years. He discusses how liberal bias influences the mainstream media. He tells us how he comes to this opinion and how he attempted to bring this to the attention of the network executives. When he comes to the conclusion that no one will listen or do anything about the problem he decides to blow the whistle on his own company and the mainstream press in a Wall Street Journal piece. I chose this topic because I thought that liberal bias in the mainstream media existed but never really did any research.
Those actions seem all good; nonetheless, in real world, it often ends up the adverse consequences. Most of the time, politicians speak in the benefit of people; yet, in fact, they have a bigger goal to do so: to be popular or to get elected. Because of that reason, everyone should not look at the surface of the issue but dig down inside to see its real nature. Things just may not be the way it seems. It’s like a toxic candy with poison inside but sweet sugar covering outside.

The organization needs to consider how its activities will influence others and good results. In the detailed analysis it alludes to organizations who sidestep the law by offering the items independently and later join them to make the item that is illicit, despite the fact that this could be viewed as lawful it is just a terrible good decision. It is ethically wrong to settle on a decision to ensure one gathering of individuals while disregarding the wellbeing of an alternate, which is precisely what happens at the present time
If we begin to barter it away for bits of perceived tranquility or safety, then we erode the standard by which to measure the limits and prerogatives of government. Liberty and tranquility will become interchangeable and indistinguishable. Disagree: Liberty is not absolute in a democracy; rather, it must be tempered by decision making for the public good. The people as a whole, or their representatives, have the right to decide in favor of laws they feel protect them from danger or harm, provided these laws merely limit—but do not eliminate—individual
